Request reason:

About three months ago I was indefinitely blocked due to vandilism on Todd Howard's wikipedia page. In addition to this, I had also previously made multiple destructive or irrelevant edits to the Aaron Burr and French Horn Rebellion wikipedia pages. When I came to request an unblock I had forgotten about the Todd Howard issue, in which a couple months ago a multitude of people decided to vandilize the page the day it became unlocked, although my own involvement was no one's fault except my own. My past actions are, to understate, regrettable; however I would also like to note that great distance between the initial instances of vandilism and the most recent one. The older instances were part of an inside joke between a friend and I that I decided to take too far and edit the wikipedia pages, but I did stop vandilizing those and didn't participate in vandilism for, I believe, almost two years. I don't mean to sound cliche, but I have grown in that time and recognize that these actions are destructive and really not as funny as I thought they were. The Tom Howard one was a lower moment in recent time, but one that I do regret, and looking back, do not find entertaining. There was another instance in which an edit I made to the Jackson's Chameleon page was removed, but that was just due to me mistakenly not citing correctly, and not any intentional harm; and I have learned to cite since then. My reason for requesting an unblock is simply I ended up on the Disappearence of Frederick Valentich page and noticed that the length of time he has been missing is outdated. Given, it's outdated by two days, but the tiny detail bothered me and I thought I would correct it, upon which I remembered I am blocked. I'd like to be a more productive member of this community, even if I start by just updating something by two days.

Decline reason:

I regret that I am unable to unblock you at this time. However, you may wish to take advantage of our WP:Standard offer for which you will be eligible from 25 October 2018. Just Chilling (talk) 21:05, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
