Welcome to Wikipedia!!!

[edit]
Hello Zuff! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. If you decide that you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. You may also push the signature button located above the edit window. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. Below are some recommended guidelines to facilitate your involvement. Happy editing! -- LittleOldMe 11:46, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting

[edit]

Greetings!

I saw your edit history on Bottlenose Dolphin, and figured you might want a couple quick Wiki tricks for reverting vandalism :-)

  1. If there's just one edit: From the edit history, click on (last) for the edit you'd like to get rid of. You'll see a "diff" between that version and the one before. Take a look at the top of the one on the right... there will be an "Undo" button. Click on that and it will open up an edit window with the page minus that specific edit. Stick a bit of a description at the end of the edit summary, submit it, and there you go!
  2. If there's a bunch of edits: Go back to the last known good version and click "Edit". It will say You are editing a prior version of this page. If you save it, any changes made since this version will be removed. at the top. Put an edit summary indicating what you're doing (e.g. "Reverting 2 edits by 2.3.4.5 to last version by SomeoneElse"), save it, and there you go.

More info is available at WP:REVERT, or let me know if you have any questions on my talk page. Thanks! RTucker 17:27, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. Happy editing! RTucker 18:06, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help request

[edit]

I'm using Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP SP2. Using both browsers the page seemes to display just fine for me. What kind of system and browser are you using? Vassyana 02:58, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I attempted to fix the layout. I think the problem was the infobox "running into" the image. Does it display well for you now? Vassyana 16:55, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No, nothing is wrong. It was decision I made when fixing the layout. The article isn't long enough to accommodate that many images without format problems, so I removed what I thought was the least interesting and useful. Feel free to change it if you'd like. Proposed deletion of Southern Ridge

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Southern Ridge, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Nazgul533 talk contribs 03:29, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

MfD nomination of User:Zuff

[edit]

User:Zuff, a page you created, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Zuff and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Zuff during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Zuff (talk) 08:52, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} I do not know what i did wrongly at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:NL_First_Logo.gif Thanks Zuff (talk) 09:52, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I don't see anything done incorrectly on that image page either...mind explaining what you need help with? Also, if you want your userpage (User:Zuff) deleted, as I think you are asking for above, let me know and I'll take care of it. Huntster (t@c) 11:26, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hehe, so you are using either Twinkle or Friendly :) Good programs, just be careful...they are powerful. If it was a mistake, then I'll go ahead and close out the MfD request. Also, where you placed your reply was fine, though it is generally prefered to add new sections at the bottom of the page for such. Doesn't really matter though :D Have a good weekend as well! Orphaned non-free media (Image:NL First Logo.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:NL First Logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:03, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Northwest Airlines Flight 85, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://aircrashed.com/cause/cANC03IA001.shtml.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. A tag has been placed on Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia for multiple reasons. Please see the page to see the reasons. If the page has since been deleted, you can ask me the reasons by leaving a message on my user talk page.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Hi. When you recently edited 12th Parliament of Singapore, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Palmer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:22, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Northwest Airlines Flight 85

[edit]

Hi! I notice you had edited Northwest Airlines Flight 85 in the past. I discovered that the accident in fact resulted in an airworthiness directive so it is notable for inclusion on Wikipedia. It has been re-established and I am working on it at the moment WhisperToMe (talk) 19:06, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
