History

[edit]

At Bad Blood on October 5, 2024, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque unveiled the new WWE Women's Crown Jewel Championship, which will be defended at each Crown Jewel event, and announced that the inaugural champion will be determined at Crown Jewel on November 2, 2024, after Women's World Champion Liv Morgan faces WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax.[1] Neither of the titleholders' championships will be defended during the match, and the loser will retain their respective championship.[2][3]
