I can't find sources for this text?

That was, more or less, pure garbage. What of it was comprehensible at all seemed to be a combination of assertions of some kind of magical properties and a very disjointed "history". Mariedegournay, hello friend. Your source appears to be a single study ("original investigation"). WP:MEDRS requires a secondary source, such as a review article, systematic review, meta-analysis, guideline, or practice guideline. The way I like to search for MEDRS compliant sources is I go to PubMed, I do my search, and then I turn the following 4 filters on: review, systematic review, meta-analysis, MEDLINE. MEDRS is one of the more complicated areas of the encyclopedia, and it took me months to get a good feel for it. I would be inclined to trust Alexbrn's judgment in this area, as he has a lot of experience editing medical articles. Hope that helps. –Novem Linguae (talk) 21:25, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
Hi all, I recently opened my first RfC after a prolonged article talk page (then my user talk page) discussion with an editor after I reverted their blanking of Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence's "Controversies" section. Several editors have replied in support of my decision but have said little else. A similar number of editors have said the section needs significant work and have challenged that the article should count as WP:FRINGE.

@Telecineguy: For me right now, the replacement for reFill is to use the automatic cite function of the VisualEditor. Changing content on a page about a public person
Hey, my girlfriend is a recording artist and she has tried several times to edit false information and misquotations on her page. Even after she edits the content, it soon reverts back to what's currently posted. The most glaring issue on her page is a sourceless quotation that she never stated anywhere. Why does her page keep revering back, and what will it take to make her edits permanent?

Many people find it difficult to edit WP-stuff about themselves per WP:Conflict of interest, basically they want to do what they want to do instead of editing according to WP:Biographies of living persons, WP:PROMO etc. See also WP:OWN on "permanent". This doesn't mean that you/she can't have some influence. You can make suggestions on the article's talkpage (always the place to start). If you mention what article (hard to have an opinion otherwise), a few changes you'd like to see and WP:RS that backs them up someone here may be willing to take a look, we can be quite energetic about WP:Biographies of living persons. Regarding the unsourced quote, instead of removing it (and violating the conflict of interest rules), consider placing the "{{cn}}" template immediately after it. Obvious change is reverted without comments

You provided no source to support the change. The text around the edit and the images strongly suggest your change is inaccurate. You can open a discussion on the talk page if you feel the text is incorrect as written, the editor reverting is under no obligation to do so. As I said I had already opened the discussion at the talk page with the direct link to confirming photo. It seems it is ignored. BTW, this photo of Wat Phra Kaew is taken from the page describing types of the "chofa"s and it is used to illustrate "Garuda's type". So there are only two options here: it is Garuda type chofa or the discussed text is not a description of chofa but other decorative element - "hang hong". Adequate Reference
I taught a seminar at a university in 1996 and want to make mention of it in an article. What do I need to provide as a reference or proof?
You really shouldn't edit about yourself, as it is difficult to remain neutral in that instance. Better to bring it up on the talk page. That said, have a look at what we are looking for in terms of a source, primarily reliability and independence. In this case, we would be looking for sources which are reliable and not affiliated with you or the university and having any interest in promoting those to say that you teaching the seminar was somehow significant. It is the "Duberman" source (citations 9, 10, 12, etc.): it is cited many times but there is no full source detail in the references. It seems that Duberman is a popular author of several relevant books (which I myself have not read). Naiditouq You are quite correct, that is not how it should be. Sometimes citationstyles on WP become mixed in an unhelpful way. To compare, at Florine Stettheimer you can see that citationstyle done correctly.

We are having repetitive issues where editors are changing the wikipedia for American Descendants of Slavery to omit information and present the group inaccurately. Editor Ritchie333 had to correct this prior just two months ago.
On the about just today three hours ago an editor omitted information about one founders Antonio Moore contributing on a progressive site and left information about the other to misrepresent information. They also restructured the page as not about but a biased slander. We have attempted using the talk page and it is ignored. Please have the page reverted to what it was prior to the revisions that make biased omissions to misrepresent the group. The page should be reverted and locked. They also added slanted information about singular statements that shouldn't be on a group page. They changed the whole page and now it isn't a description of the group.
The page is now more of a blog with the goal of making ADOS appear right wing. It has left the line about Southern Poverty and omitted the clearly sourced mention of Moore writing at Inequality.org Here is the source. Its their actual site. https://inequality.org/authors/antonio-moore/. You can omit both but not one and not the other.
Also, there are inaccuracies of added information on the page now. The source doesn't say what the editor asserted. It said "They say" this is basically the editor effectively piecing together material to make their own argument that is not in the source. This is the quote Washington Post quote "They say calling Harris “African American,”..." and the writer is ambiguous to the source of that "they" it is inaccurate.
The editor added this but there is no support. "In one video, Moore criticized Kamala Harris and asserted that she was not "African American" (Harris's father is Jamaican American); the claim was amplified by right-wing figures, including Donald Trump Jr..[" There is no source to support this discussion. And now what the editor did is took one wash post article and made sections off this one article. The prevalence section added is from this same article. As is the misquoted citation.
In addition, now the page both tries to frame the group as small and right-wing which is not for a description page about page. It took citation 5 that the recent editor added and embedded it as the page in all senses. American Descendants of Slavery (ADOS) is a term referring to (and a lineage-focused political movement advocating for) descendants of the enslaved Africans in the United States from its colonial period onward. Both concepts grew out of the hashtag #ADOS created by Yvette Carnell and Antonio Moore.[1]
ADOS have made reparations for the system of slavery in the United States a key tenet of their platform.[2] They want colleges, employers and the federal government to prioritize African Americans who descended from American slaves, and they argue that affirmative action policies originally designed to help the descendants of slavery in America have largely been used to benefit other groups.[2] The American descendants of slavery, they say, should have their own racial category on census forms and college applications, and not be lumped in with others with similar skin color but different historical experiences.[2] One of its founders, Carnell, was a board member of "Progressives for Immigration Reform",[3] described by the Southern Poverty Law Center as an anti-immigration group.[4] The other founder Antonio Moore wrote on liberal think tank Institute for Policy Studies site Inequality.org on economics and race for several years.[5]
Overview
Members of American Descendants of Slavery (ADOS) are descendants of enslaved Africans, their captors (European slavers), and the original inhabitants of the North American continent during the time of chattel slavery and the Atlantic slave trade. They are descendants of at least one ancestor who was forced into slavery within the established colonies in North America during the time of chattel slavery. The term "descendants of slavery" was originally coined by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during the Civil Rights era in the United States of America. The addition of 'American' within the term is used to establish specificity (as there are other countries that also used the forced labor of enslaved people to develop their nation). "American Descendants of Slavery" refers specifically to the descendants of the enslaved people held in captivity in North America during the initial establishment of the United States (from the colonial era onward).
ADOS cannot trace their ancestral roots to any specific country or tribe on the continent of Africa.[6] Their African ancestors were sold into human trafficking (slavery) by African traders on the continent who made a profit from selling their enemies and other unfortunate people to European traffickers (slavers).[7]
Political movement
The movement intends to correct the view of outsiders by using statistical and historical data and evidence to speak to the reality of modern life for ADOS (formally referred to[by whom?] as African Americans), whose lives have been impacted heavily by social and economic struggles created by chattel slavery, segregation and Jim Crow, the practice of Red Lining, convict leasing, mass incarceration, and discrimination still found in various forms within the structure of the American political and economic system today. The group continues the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with the continued fight for social and economic justice as it demands reparative justice and the opportunities they have historically been denied within America.
As ADOS explains on its policy page, the group key objective is for reparations for the descendants of slaves who were held in captivity in the United States as well as a larger Black agenda that demands a "New Deal for Black America."[8] This agenda includes but not limited to lineage-specific set-asides for American descendants of chattel slavery, restoration of the protections of the Voting Rights Act, a minimum of 15 percent of Small Business Association (SBA) loans be distributed ADOS businesses, a multi-billion dollar infrastructure plan targeted to ADOS communities along with financial compensation for benign neglect of those communities by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and federal government, comprehensive prison reform and rehabilitation, a refocused oversight and enforcement for ADOS economic inclusion from American banks, and ADOS college debt forgiveness and health care coverage.[8]
Supporters of ADOS push the issue on social media with the hashtag #ADOS. As a movement #ADOS draws value from the use of social media, and "sets out to shift the dialogue around the identity of what it is to be African American in an effort to move the discussion from melanin"[9] to the lineage of an American population whose ancestors built the wealth of the United States.
Founders
The American Descendants of Slavery movement was founded by Yvette Carnell and Antonio Moore.[1]
Carnell runs a weekly political show called "BreakingBrown"[10] and has been an aide for two Democratic politicians, Senator Barbara Boxer and Congressman Robert Marion Berry.[11]
Moore has been a writer for the progressive think tank the Institute for Policy Studies and for the Huffington Post. He was also the producer of the investigative documentary 'Freeway Crack in The System' which was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Investigative Journalism: Long Form.[12][13][14]
Reception
Hubert Adjei-Kontoh of The Outline opined that "#ADOS has managed to synthesize the black left-wing critique of America's origins with a right-wing belief in the inherent superiority of those who were born in America."[15] Kevin Cokley from the University of Texas at Austin is critical of the organisation's desire to separate the descendants of slaves from African immigrants and encouraged the two groups to be united under an African American identity.[16] Malcolm Nance characterised supporters as trolls, calling them "a mix of [African American] proTrump racists [and] nuts.”[3] Talib Kweli is critical of the group because he believes they are aligned with the Republican party against immigration[3] and Shireen Mitchell stated the group was making it easier for black voters to justify voting for Donald Trump.[2] Farah Stockman questioned in November 2019 whether the movement was large enough to warrant discussion on a national level but decided to print an article about the group in The New York Times.[17]
Alvin Bernard Tillery, Jr., an associate professor at Northwestern University, states that the issues ADOS raised on who should receive reparations will have to be reflected upon by the black community.[3] William A. Darity Jr. believes the ADOS' premise is based on a distinctive ethnic identity that exists among the descendants of American slaves.[3] He defended ADOS against nativism claims[18] and believes they are supporting people who have not benefitted in the current American system.[2] Cornel West stated at an ADOS conference in Louisville, Kentucky that the ADOS movement was resuming the work started by Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X.[17]

Archivist writing Wikipedia pages
I am interested in writing Wikipedia pages that do not exist for authors (noteworthiness tbd) with highly credible published works but I also volunteer for a group that creates audiobooks for works that are in the public domain.
Is this a conflict of interest for me to do both if I am not a writer by profession or hobby but consider myself more of an archivist looking to fill a void?
Tchula65. Hello friend. This doesn't sound like a conflict of interest to me. A conflict of interest, in my opinion, is a strong financial or personal connection to a specific person or company. Citing email correspondence?
I'm wondering if it's possible to cite email correspondence between a wikipedia editor and a reputable source, for example, asking a museum archivist about the existence of pieces in their collection when an online catalog is incomplete. I am considering doing this while editing the page Fredric Hobbs--his obituary claims that his art pieces are held in the Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection, but their online catalog is incomplete. I'm not sure if this falls under WP:NOR or not, as if the conversation took place on an email list it seems that it would be fine? Assistance with advertising in article
I am requesting assistance cleaning up apparent advertising in violation of the WP:PROMOTION policy in the Toll Brothers (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) article. On March 29, 2021, user TBuser2021 made several edits to the page that appear to be advertising (examples include discussing the company in very positive terms, user referencing "we," and also removed a post about a controversy they had. I went ahead and added the advert template for now. I am looking for an experienced editor to help revert these changes and then post the "Template:Uw-advert1" on TBuser2021's page when finished, along with any other necessary changes. @Davemcor69: You refer to your addition to Lolita being reverted. Sundayclose told you to get consensus. That typically means to start a new section at Talk:Lolita to seek support from other editors. Lolita#Popular music is not meant to have all mentions but a selection. Other mentions have been removed in the past, for example from a 2016 version. I looked up the lyrics to the Suzanne Vega song. I'm working on a bibliography for a writer but I am, in effect, duplicating the chronological bibliography of another source. Is this considered plagiarism if I am using the information but publishing it in a format I adopted from a bibliography from an already-published wikipedia page? If not, how do I credit the source (webpage) for the information I"m using from their page to create my page? I'd still like to credit the source for their work. Please undo an arbitrary article name change that was made with no talk or consultation
The article in question is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Causality_(philosophy). The article formerly named Causality has been renamed arbitrarily, on the will of a single editor, with no consultation on the talk pages. I think the change is inappropriate; at least it would need talk page discussion, and indeed consensus.
I am not facile with such big moves as this and I don't know how to do efficiently what needs to be done. I have tried, but I don't know how to undo a redirect. I am asking for urgent help before any further tangles are generated.
I am not sure how much argument I should post here. Briefly, causality is a general ordinary language concept, not restricted to philosophy. If the change of title is to be made, it needs discussion on the talk page.

According to Wikipedia, when content is published in any language (for example – French), the process to re-publish it in another language (for example English) would be much faster. I am wondering how long will it take for my English version to be published, granted that the French version is already published?
Chourama. Hello friend. You've done everything right. You used AFC, and you submitted the draft for review. Easy accepts and easy declines tend to get processed right away (within hours or days). Unfortunately this draft is complicated because of the 36 references, so it may take months. When it is reviewed, the reviewer will leave a message on your user talk page. I will also mention that the English Wikipedia's notability rules are stricter than that of other Wikis, so one has to be careful translating articles. I have tried several times to add Calvin C. Hobbs to the Winona, MS = Notable People page/content. He was a original Tuskegee Airman and on 03/22/18 the state recognized him/his accomplishments with a House/Senate bill = HC78. I have been denied each time. How can I get this added to the page?

No, Mutt Lunker did not break any rules or do anything disruptive, they merely pointed out that you broke a rule (=don't change other people's talkpage comments). IMO, they were pretty patient with you, considering that you had not merely changed their talkpage comment, but changed it in a frankly "rather hostile" way.[2] Turning "Betty" into "her majesty The Queen" — in preference to merely "the Queen" — in a comment signed by Mutt Lunker changes the tone of his comment into that of a humble and abject royalist. Bri.public. Done. I was puzzled as to why this wasn't showing up in the edit filter log for that page. Then I tried to fix it myself and discovered it was the URL blacklist. March 10: Reversion by User, claiming there was no source.
March 11: Reinstitution of original edit with explanation of the fact that the photo was annotated (presumably by the original owner/contributor, although that is uncertain). I told User "If you have an issue with the factuality of the photo caption, please describe the basis for your dispute."
March 11: Rather than modifying my edit, responding to my comment, or requesting further information, User again reverted the edit without justification, adding the spurious and combative comment "The photo doesn't have a date or the name of the pilot in it, now does it? And how do we know, just from the photo, that it is in fact Mississippi?"
March 12: Due to the non-responsive manner of the comment by User, I re-instituted my original edit.
March 12: User posted on my personal page, {{La]User_talk:Brucelucier#On_using_photos_as_sources}} a demeaning and harassing post, snidely informing me that I am not "An actual naval historian."
April 22: On seeing User's multiple edits to my page I warned him to refrain from posting anything more on my page. I was not able to post on his user page (it was restricted or blocked), so I had to post to another linked page.
April 22: User responded 'I haven’t said anything to you in well over a month, what are you talking about? And if me pointing out you were wrong is “harassment” or “bullying”, I suggest you grow up.'
Comments:
1. User frequently locks his user page, making it impossible to respond directly. Instead, he links to another page. As a result, it is impossible to know how much of a continuing problem his bullying language and behavior is.
Due to the confluence of Comments 1 and 2 (below), I suggest User be restricted from this tactic, as it obscures his history from other users.
2. User has engaged with other users in a similarly contentious manner: Talk:USS_Mississippi_(BB-41)#Verification_needed (edit | [[Talk:Talk:USS_Mississippi_(BB-41)#Verification_needed|talk]] | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) and User_talk:Parsecboy/Sandbox#Rape_during_the_liberation_of_France (edit | [[Talk:User_talk:Parsecboy/Sandbox#Rape_during_the_liberation_of_France|talk]] | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views). In the latter instance, he "informed" another user, Marcher77 that Marcher77 also was not a "real" historian and a liar: "Somehow I don't believe that."
Again, due to his frequent habit of locking his user page, the extent of his bullying behavior is hard to determine, but I suspect it may be extensive.
It seems User has a proprietary attitude toward articles he has an interest in. He also lashes out at other users in violation of Wikipedia policy. I suggest he be warned against this tendency. Obviously, his comments undermine Wikipedia's goals and should be discouraged.

Brucelucier, the user in question is an administrator with over 100,000 edits. When a newer user is being told by a very experienced user that their edits are problematic, it may be smartest to just accept the feedback and move on. Can you reply with some diffs of this user's problematic behavior? Examples of what diffs look like: [3][4]. Diffs are very concise and a great way of presenting behavioral evidence. First off, a couple of things for Bruce: my userpage is locked, that is not where messages go. No one has any reason to edit it apart from myself, and as I have encountered my fair share of vandals over the decade and a half I've been working here, I prefer to keep it locked to avoid nonsense being posted there. Also, it's generally considered bad form to bring up an individual at a board such as this and not notify them.
Second, here's the extent of my interaction with Bruce:
A couple of hours later, after finding a source that directly contradicted the photo, I posted it to his talk page. It's this edit, apparently, that constitutes bullying and harassment, as far as I can tell. Why Bruce finds it insulting that I described Norman Polmar, a noted naval historian, as such, I don't know. Presumably, he assumes I'm insinuating that he's not a historian. Whether he is or is not, surely Bruce can understand why I know literally nothing about him, nor would I have any reason to believe that he is a noted naval historian.
My response, pointing out that I hadn't said anything to him since the initial discussion. Yes, telling him to "grow up" is a bit snide, but hey, if you show up at my talk page making ridiculous attacks on me, you might just get a snide response.
If providing a source that he asked for and then responding to his accusation on my own talk page constitute harassment and hounding, then hey, lock me up. But maybe one of us is just a wee bit overly defensive about being wrong about something. Parsecboy (talk) 10:36, 29 April 2021 (UTC)
Fawcett Publication vs Fawcett Published Titles
I'm working on a bibliography that cites the magazines of a number of short stories. Among the are several 'Fawcett' publications (i.e., Triple-X Magazine (later renamed "Tiple-X", "Fawcett's Battle Stories", and "Battle Stories" (assumes just rebranding of the title from 'Fawcett's Battle Stories'). Though the Wikipedia link for "Fawcett Publications" does not list these publications, specifically, it seems practical to make a link from these titles to "Fawcett Publications" but I'm not sure this is within Wikipedia standards. National Fascist Party
Hi, I fear that I need your help in solving this (senseless) dispute about this logo's size.
1. A few months ago, Beyond My Ken and I had a brief confrontation regarding the size of the National Fascist Party's logo and we agreed to use a 120px size. He proposed it first and I supported his choice, even if the previous version of the logo was quite larger (160px, as you can see from this previous version of December 2018);
2. A few weeks ago, he unilaterally decided to reduce the size, using 75px, without any consensus and, when I reverted his edits, he accused me of advertising a fascist party;
3. After an edit war, of which I regret, I was inconclusively reported by BMK to the Administrators' noticeboard, and we started a discussion on the apposite talk page. Other three users partecipated in the discussion, two of them supported 120px, one of them supported 100px;
4. Yesterday (and today too), he decided to switch the size to 100px, asserting that there's a consesus. I think there isn't a consesus, but I'd like to have your opinion about it.

The image display, like a thumbnail in the text body, is usually a default, viewable but not overwhelming other parts of the article. This ought to avoid disputes about what appears to look best to editors and provide a reader with information that can be clicked to enlarge if they wish. The last point is crucial. Why LIthuania is semi presidential republic not parliamentary republic?
Please explain the oddities why Lithuania is semi-presidential, unlike Estonia and Latvia which is both parliamentary. Lithuania is supposedly a parliamentary republic so the baltic tigers have synchronous them. I hope that prime minister Lithuania will be more powerful than the president. I think it is wrong to be a semi-presidential republic for Lithuania, but even know that Estonia and Latvia are both parliamentary not semi-presidential. It was written by me about a world-renowned dental educator and professor so that people who are interested in his work can learn more about him and find his papers and research. I fail to see why the user who deleted the article has deemed the page to be 'unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view'
It seems quite an unusual and destructive activity to autonomously patrol Wikipedia looking for articles to delete. Perhaps Wikipedia should be looking at the credentials of these people.
I would like the article to be restored as a draft so that I can review it and make any changes that may have triggered such an excessive response from this person.
Flowonline, hello friend. The article was deleted by RHaworth for WP:G11 (unambiguous advertising or promotion). That means that the article was not written from a neutral point of view, and would require a complete re-write to make it sound factual, neutral, and encyclopedic. To obtain the deleted draft text, you can try posting on his talk page, or posting at WP:REFUND. Or you can try writing the draft from scratch, taking care to make the draft sound as factual and neutral and possible. You should avoid using words like "world-renowned". I have a few additions/changes
1. Dave Smukler died on February 22, 1971 - I am his daughter. One of the wires in his pacemaker broke triggering a massive heart attack when he was standing in line at the Los Angeles International Airport.
2. I found a letter from my dad, Dave Smukler, that said he wanted to go into the army because of what was happening to his race (Jews) in Germany.
3. He was the West Coast Division Sales Manager for Bridgestone Tires.
4. Dave Smukler was not only the West Coast Commissioner for Pop Warner Football, but he also coached a team, The Reseda Rams, when I was a child.
5. In the Hall of Fame, there are two paychecks that Dave Smukler gave back to Bert Bell when the Eagles were having monetary struggles.

Editor's edit summaries (language, tone)

I'm concerned by Sparkle1 (talk·contribs) and the tone they use in edit summaries. This has been in the back of my mind for a while, and I've stopped myself from making a big thing about it, but I think maybe we've got to a point where a little advice is needed. I'm not an admin so my actions are limited.
. Use of the phrase "stupid new inclusion" and "cancerous" here - [7]

. A run of edits on Leeds Council election articles using somewhat theatrical language here [9] which I did mention in the project page here [10] where I tagged Sparkle1 without their input to date.
At the beginning of the month they had some back and forth on their talk page with very harsh and uncooperative language ("I am completely not interested") here [11].
I would like to ask if I'm right to be concerned by their tone and language, whether I am being too "soft" in being concerned here? They seem to be very constructive editors in some ways but there are moments of conflict and temper that I now think might need guidance in dealing with. Maybe draft the article in your user space, make sure there are several citations to reliable sources such as newspapers and books, make sure there are credible claims of significance in the first paragraph, then move it or ask for a pt person's opinion on it? Issue with an account that is possibly a factory of propaganda editor(s)
The account is [User:Jingiby]. If you see the account edit history you will see that he (they) edit for 10 or more hours non stop each day. Last 24 hours alone, they made 40 edits. Going on like this, each day, for years.
Something borderline impossible for a single human to do. So the suspect is they are a collective account, possibly paid for this.
Second they have an agenda. It is a hitman account aimed exclusively at Macedonia related pages. Editing them towards a Bulgarian propaganda worldview. And this is in plain sight. Even from their main page the Bulgarian nationalist narrative is clear. We have had issues with this account for years. He/they were already banned before. You can read at comments from Macedonian reddit about this from today. Yes, User:FrankSupra. Yes you can. Go to the Administrator's Noticeboard, here: WP:AN, and repeat what you said here. The Admins are both wise and powerful, they'll know what to do.
Here is that editor's statistics. The number of edits, and the time of the edits, look consistent with a single editor editing regularly during normal daytime hours.

External link to relevant content is being deleted
I have been trying to post a link to the images of the restoration of Catalina 2459 that started last July. Every time I post the link, an admin takes it down. I don't understand the reason for this. This is precisely the type of content that attracts people to Wikipedia so what is the policy that allows this?
There is no self promotion going on. You will not find my name or related information anywhere on the pages or images. I've volunteered to do this so I don't make a dime off the images. While visitors do show up at my site to view the images that's exactly what happens with every external link so I don't see that as an issue.
I've had no issue with any of the other historical aircraft I have posted on Wikipedia. Given the response I see from Wikipedia on these other aircraft, it's fulfilling Wikipedia's goal of providing the world with relevant information at great depth. It is also unique content in a unique format that can't be found anywhere else. Again, I am puzzled as to why the admin pulls the link.
Regarding this aircraft, this is the oldest flying PBY 5A Catalina in the world with 3 sub kills during WWII. It is being restored to its original configuration as a WWII sub hunter. This is a historically significant aircraft and I have been documenting the restoration for the Collings Foundation in Stow, MA. It is currently being restored at American Aero Services in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Along with the record of the restoration, these images also document the remarkable engineering that went into the Consolidated Vultee design dating to the 1930s. On several levels this a significant and detailed look at the aircraft.

Clarity, simplicity, and accuracy require time and effort. They also require generosity.
I just watched hours of effort abruptly disappear from my screen without explanation or warning
while writing in a "sandbox" without any thought of anonymous censorship.
My subject was Robert Clive based on a semester paper that I wrote nearly 60 years ago about Clive's character and his influence on the western world.
My resource was a newly-built library at the University of the South and the contemporary newspapers it contained.
I have been writing measurably useful material for 40 years
and offered to share what I learned with Wiki.
But people can view writing differently.
To me, writing is the most elegant form of engineering -- the process of structuring ideas on paper.
You begin with an idea and substantiate it. But as Clemenceau would say "Words can disguise thoughts."
In the beginning Wiki offered useful information that is usefully presented and easily accessed -- first for programmers and then for writers.
The abrupt deletion of good faith writing and the redirection of my screen to references that suggest both plagiarism and thoughtful
writing are against editorial policy - is unsettling.

Possible conflict of Interest
Hello. I am fairly new to Wikipedia and not sure how to address this. Randy Fine has a page, who is is a Republican politician in the Florida House of Representatives. A user with the name @Floridagopman: (Which seems like Randy Fine himself because the name has Florida and initials GOP is synonymous with the Republican Party) has made many changes to page. Glancing at the edits, this user has removed many negative things about Randy Fine and put in positive things.
I put a warning on Floridagopman's talk page. Anything else to do for now ? Thanks
