Emblems of Connacht

Arms of Connacht from 1651, in which the arm is wearing a clothed sleeve instead of armour, which should be reflected in the modern versions displayed on Wikipedia (and all other versions of the Connacht emblem outside of WP display a clothed version as well).
The versions of the eagle and sword-arm on the Connacht emblem in the bottom-right corner of this particular flag should be used for the rest of these files.

Alright, I know this may seem like a tall order, but could someone please modify as many as possible of the above files containing the Connacht emblem (except the first two of course) so that the design of both the eagle and the sword-arm match those on the version of the Connacht arms in the first provided file. Not sure about the desirability of that -- traditional coats of arms are defined by the heraldic blazon, and many different artistic renditions of a textual blazon may be acceptable. Strictly demanding a particular visual appearance is more suitable to corporate logos than traditional heraldry...AnonMoos (talk) 22:22, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@AnonMoos: Well, the main reason for this request is so that the sword-arm on all versions of the Connacht emblem on Wikipedia will be wearing clothing rather than armour, in line with the 1651 version of the Connacht COA, and indeed any real-life depiction of the Connacht emblem that isn't based on the current Wikipedia version. Hi everyone! I'd like to give a request to see if anyone can please make a vectorized version of the flag of the fictional country of "Grand Fenwick" from the book and movie "The Mouse That Roared"? The design as described in the book and shown in the movie is a red double-headed eagle, one head on the left, the other on the right, with its wings outspread and two scrolls at either side of the eagle, with one reading "Aye!" (or "AYE!", "Aye" or "AYE") near the left head, and one reading "Nay!" (or "NAY!", "Nay" or "NAY") near the right head. This design is in the center of a plain color white field. I also request that the same user who creates the flag of Grand Fenwick also creates the coat of arms of Grand Fenwick, which has an identical design to the flag but with the eagle and scrolls placed on a white shield instead. @Fvasconcellos: It looks great! Just two more small things are needed. First, fix the bottom part of the bottom of the scroll below the "A" in "Aye!" and the "y" in "Nay!" so the scroll joins correctly. While they are connected in the Wikipedia preview, they aren't in my browser (I zoomed up to check the difference). If this is just an error with my browser, you can ignore it, otherwise a quick touch up will do. The second thing is to upload another file titled "Coat of arms of Grand Fenwick" with the design of the flag inside an escutcheon (heraldic shield, it doesn't matter about the shape, just one that looks nice). I would say that the coat of arms might need some adjustments to remove some of the whitespace at the top but maybe that's just me being nit-picky and the design is actually perfect. Request: Would someone please be able to make an image of the coat of arms of Anand Satyanand? I'm mainly just interested in the shield, but if you could make the full thing (i.e. with the supporters & crest as well) that would be great too!

The blazon for his coat of arms is:

Escutcheon: Gules a White Fronted Tern or Tara (Sterna striata) volant proper between three Trumpet Shells (Charonia tritonis) palewise and in centre chief a Pair of Scales Or.

Crest: A North Island Brown Kiwi (Apteryx australis mantelli) supporting a Mace representing that of the New Zealand House of Representatives palewise Or and between the Mace and Kiwi a Barrister’s Wig proper.

Supporters: On either side an Indian Elephant Sable about its neck a Wreath of Karaka (Corynocarpus laevigatus) Vert fructed with orange drupes proper.

I have attached a photo of a carved depiction of the coat of arms for your reference. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any other versions anywhere.

Request: Hi!, Can someone please revectorize the flag of the Việt Tân? As you can see, the flag was actually vectorized already but it is slightly inaccurate. @CubanoBoi made a great effort but it is unfortunately in need of some touch-ups. The flower design in the middle is meant to have two petals at the top and bottom instead of one and the blue in the flag is brighter than in the official version. The PNG version seems more accurate when comparing with photographs of the flag. With regards with the flag's copyright status, I'm not actually sure if the "Do not copy this file to Wikimedia Commons" is correct. The Việt Tân is a Vietnamese political party but is not publicly active in Vietnam itself as Vietnam is under a one-party rule by the Vietnamese Communist Party which bans all other parties and this banning likely also including the Việt Tân's symbols. This would imply that the Việt Tân are based outside of Vietnam. If this is true then one might have to check which country so both files can by copied to Commons. Hi again! Thanks to @Fvasconcellos for doing the request and in such a fast time too! Two last things to do now. I not sure if this is actually there or just a glitch on my browser but I think there is a transparent line at the bottom of the flag that needs to be in blue or cropped, can you check that please? Also, the official website of the Việt Tân (viettan.org) uses a square version of the flag as its logo so it also be helpful to do that as well (using the flag as a base). A note: the coat of arms of Magalhães should certainly be red and silver (argent and gules), not red and gold, as the one given as Ferdinand Magellan's in the engraving above; but the arms of Ferdinand Magellan himself are disputed. They are clearly described in his last will and testament as those of Magalhães and Sousa, but no one knows for sure which Sousa: ancient (most likely), Arronches, or Prado.
