WWE 13[edit]

I left an section on issues with WWE 13. why was it removed? The issues stated are verified issues from multiple source and from playing with the game. These glaring technical issues should be disclosed to the public, so people aren't being ripped off by a company that clearly engaged in fraudulent behavior.

Issues

The game is plagued with a number of game breaking issues. A patch was issued in November which did not fix the issue. THQ has been silent as to when a new patch will be available. As the games stands now it is unplayable, and it was falsely advertised. Most of the new features that THQ stated would be in the game does not work. Universe 3.0 does not work. The creation system that allows for custom tag teams and stables does not work, as the game will reset the stables back to default. Also please not that many have stated that the game will actually erase save data and will freeze prompting an manual reset. By doing this you run the risk of "bricking" your system. The custom belt editor does not work as belts do scale properly to created wrestlers, not to mention the games loses audio and the commentary and ring announcer cannot properly identify who is who and the will state that every wrestler is in a stable called the agents. THQ will not issues refunds so they have effectively stolen money from their consumers, engaged in consumer fraud, and they have engaged in false advertisement to bolster the sales of this very technically flawed product. Yeah, Wikipedia works by proof, rather than truth. You need to use citations (proof) for your statement you wish to add. Preferably from reliable, authorative sources and be written neutrally.

Problem editing Prinair Flight 191[edit]

I'm not sure what I did to cause this. I duplicated the procedure for editing the link to the first NTSB Report when trying to fix a dead link for the second NTSB Report. I've fixed quite a few bad links to NTSB Accident Reports with no problems. I tried to copy and past the error message but that didn't work. I wrote it down so I can give it to someone.

In [1] you removed </ref> after the reference. I have fixed it. Each starting <ref> must be accompanied by an ending </ref>. Otherwise the software thinks the following text is part of the reference. PrimeHunter (talk) 03:38, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Indigo etc[edit]

I am a user of pages in general ur pretty good but I am concerned about a few things. Writing that are value laden or hypocritical ie one sided arguments. Eg indigo section is very rude. I wanted a quick answer to what this indigo people represent and expected facts not bullying. This is not ok. Are you referring to the article Indigo? It's mainly about the color but mentions people in Indigo#Spiritualism. Or maybe you mean Indigo children or something else at Indigo (disambiguation)? PrimeHunter (talk) 03:31, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

About awarding barnstars[edit]

I am an auto confirmed user and have almost 1000 edits but feeling shy to say that I am almost zero in the knowledge of awarding barnstars. Can anyone describe me why,how a barnstar is awarded and who can award it?--pratyya (talk) 06:30, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I will try to summarize:

A barnstar is given "to reward Wikipedia contributors for hard work and due diligence" (according to WP:Barnstar)
Go to a user's user page or talk page and click the red "heart" button at the top for a list of barnstars and other awards.
Anyone can award them.

Status Template[edit]

Hello. I'm trying out a new status template-{{StatusTemplate}}, and I've added the required code from the documentation page, as well as purging and bypassing the cache. However, it does not seem to be working. The script is supposedly buggy, but I want a quick check before I give up. My .js page is at User:Thekillerpenguin/vector.js. The script probably is not working anymore as it has not been edited since 2008. After all, the template says "Due to the bugginess of Henrik's automod script the auto update links may not work for long periods of time, if you know of a way to fix this issue it'd be most appreciated." everything looks distorted[edit]

hello there! i logged in on monday morning to find that my editing toolbar is completely distorted. all the links are all over the place and it is very hard for me to continue editing in this manner. i use google chrome and i've tried to disable some of the tools i had activated months ago in my preferences, however i can't seem to get around it. has this happened to anyone before? i appreciate your help. i just want to keep working as i used to... Life expectancy images[edit]

I could probably make the change myself, but I don't know what colour spectrum to use. I once altered the colours used on a site of my own, to make them more colour-blind friendly, following advice from a web site which claimed to specialise in this. Thanks for replying. I could not say about your web site as I do not know which colorblindness your friend has. Stick with a red-blue spectrum when in doubt. I have changed the male map from a red-green to a red-blue spectrum. Please let me know what you think. (To me, with normal colour vision, the new image is slightly less pleasing aesthetically, but perfectly easy to understand.) World Extreme Skiing Championship[edit]

I'm trying to post and provide links to verify facts about the http://worldextremeskiingchampionships.com/ and the http://www.worldextremesnowboardingchampionships.com/index.html with facts. A user named Bonadea is deleteing the material and links that provide real history. why would Bonadea be permited to delete materials that verify what was put on wiki. He has as much right to delete the material as you have to add it. He has given his reason for deleting it, in his edit summary: he considers the material you have added to be "unsourced, promotional, unencyclopedic." I tend to agree. Gadget problem related to UI[edit]

This problem started when the UI got messsed up this week. I've been unable to fix the gadget problem. I use the latest version of Firefox.

This is the gadget: "Add page and user options to drop-down menus on the toolbar." I use Vector. The first symptom was the words "Page" and "User" showed only halfway. Subsequently - and still now - the words don't show up at all. All I have are the down arrows. I tried unchecking the gadget. I cleared my cache, closed Firefox, reopened Firefox, and rechecked the gadget. The problem hasn't gone away.

I noticed that it has been mentioned on List of open source video games and List of OpenGL programs. Is it not supposed to be there, or does that make it notable for Wikipedia? Chimney sweep -categorisation help and advice.[edit]

Hi, a number of fairly experienced editors have contributed to Chimney sweep which features the World's first recognised occupational disease and first legislation against child labour, either of which should make it a high importance article. Unbelievably it's languishing as a low importance household item yet we can't find anywhere to classify it -or to get the expert attention it deserves. It might need to be merged with Chimney sweeps' carcinoma and it needs more sources but it is a potential featured article. Please advise -and thanks in eager anticipation!
