History of H. J. Hienz Co.[edit]

Your history leaves out an important fact. Bert Gookin was not the first non Hienz family member to be President. Frank Armour Jr. was President of H. J. Hienz from 1959 to 1966. Thereafter he was Vice Chairman until his retirement in 1969 after 41 ,years of service. Source his obituary in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette date May 12, 1978. There has been a concerted effort to eliminate him from the history to embellish the resume of his successors. I know. Red Road[edit]

Please don't cancel the show(Red Road), It is really good and I can't stand it without seeing Jason Momoa weekly (PLEASE) There are many other crappie shows out there that should be canceled other than this one. It's a good show.

I replaced the ref in this edit.
The accessdate was July 18 2015. Valid date formats are July 18, 2015, 2015-07-18, and 18 July 2015. We try to use a consistent date format within an article, so I used the latter, which is also most common in UK-related articles.
For information about the usage of the "cite web" parameters, please see Template:Cite web. Because parameter misuse is widespread, that is a better source of guidance than existing usage examples.

The reply I think you're referring to was: There is no requirement to use DMY dates in accessdate. That is a true statement. I used DMY in this case not because it is required but because it is the best choice for this article. See MOS:DATETIES. Federal Civil Rights case[edit]

There is a Federal Rights civil lawsuit that could potentially change medical marijuana laws in New Jersey, USA. Multiple news sites have written about it. Where could I go to properly suggest this material? Links:

However, Cookeonbass, it will be far more significant when and if a court rules in favor of the student, or even accepts the suit for trial. Anyone can sue for anything, most suits don't go anywhere. GoogleTrans not working on de.wikipedia.org[edit]

GoogleTrans is not working on de.wikipedia.org although it works on en.wikipedia.org. Nothing happens when you press Shift.

@Auenwald: If the problem is with .de Wikipedia, you need to ask there- unfortunately we can only deal with English Wikipedia questions, as every language Wikipedia runs differently. Are you sure? GoogleTrans is a gadget that must be installed on each Wiki. It is installed on the enwiki, but it is not installed on the dewiki. You can ask an administrator to install the gadget on the dewiki if you wish. The GoogleTrans gadget calls the Google translation service to do its translating. User:Endo999/GoogleTrans is the help file for GoogleTrans and it explains how to install a gadget on a wiki. There is a installation problem with GoogleTrans because some minor changes need to be made everytime IE releases a new version. IE11 is such an example. Some of the wikis have not upgraded the gadget so their gadget does not work for ie11. This is noted on the help site. There are install instructions on the help site that explain how to always pull in the latest version of the enwiki version of the gadget so you don't have to reinstall when a new version of IE comes out.

@Endo999 I don't understand your post. It says GoogleTrans "is not installed on the dewiki" but the GoogleTrans page says "GoogleTrans gadget is on the Following Wikipedias" and de is listed. These statements sound contradictory, so either I am not understanding them or one of them is wrong. Can you please rephrase?

@Auenwald: Sorry about that. The GoogleTrans file is a bit misleading. If there is an asterick after the Language name then the GoogleTrans gadget is installed on that wiki. @Endo999 OK I see. Thank you. So finally, I want to check - I would need to file a request that dewiki install it? (wherever one files such requests). Or is it something that I install for me personally, somewhere in my account? The reason I'm asking is this sentence in the GoogleTrans help page (and the rest of the instructions), which sort of makes it sound like the latter, but also it could be addressed to whoever manages wikipedia domains:

@Auenwald Put this line into your vector.js personal file (or whatever skin you have, most people have vector):

mw.loader.load('//en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Endo999/GoogleTrans.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript');

this is a line of javascript that will load the enwiki version of GoogleTrans gadget in your personal dewiki account (just for you). Then it should work just like it were installed on the dewiki for everyone. You may have to set the translate to language (if you don't want german translated to english). i'm trying to edit a page about me. i got a message saying it was re-edited. the page was created without my knowledge or permission. I want to clarify/update some things and add pictures, etc.. am i to understand that I do not have control over a page that is about me? Assuming you are Fredi Walker (we have no way of knowing), or even if you are not, may I explain about our articles which are biographies of living persons .
A common misconception, from people used to social media sites, is that this is "your" page. It is not, it is "our" page about you, and we do not need anyone's knowledge or permission to create a page about them.
All of our articles should be based on independant reliable sources, which are in the public domain, so the information can be verified. All of these words have specific meanings in Wikipedia - please click on the coloured words to be taken to the explanation. We do not normally accept information based on "personal knowledge", or prepared by you/your management/PR company or anyone else related to you.
As the page is about you, you have a conflict of interest in editing the page, so should make your requests on the article talk page, including references to reliable sources.

Winston Churchill page....wrong date of prime minister.[edit]

Hello. I was researching Winston Churchill and noticed that the date that Winston Churchill took office as Prime inister of United Kingdom is wrong. I am fairly sure that he was prime minister from 1941 not 1951. Of course you should check if it's true but I am positive it is not 1951. He served two terms, the first starting in 1940, the second starting in 1951. You're looking at the date for the second term. See "Second term as prime minister" section of the article. Ian.thomson (talk) 21:51, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict)@Morganlhjohnson: Winston Churchill had 2 non-consecutive terms as Prime Minister, and both are listed in the article, and the infobox- 1951-55 term is listed first, and the 1940-45 one below. He is most famous for being British Prime Minister from 1940-45, however he was also Prime Minister from 1951-1955 after winning the 1951 election.
