Bo Bridges Page Creation[edit]

Hello,

I would like to create a page for photographer, Bo Bridges, but currently "Bo Bridges" is linked to redirect to the page for actor "Beau Bridges"

Is there a way we can change that so that I may create a page for Bo and someone typing that in is no longer re-directed to Beau Bridges?

Please let me know, thank you!

@Bobridgesphotography: There are specific challenges to your request. First, it looks like you have a conflict of interst. Second, if you are going to be creating a Wikipedia article in which you are expecting any financial upside you must declare that fact on your user page. This is mandatory and not doing this is a violation of the Terms of Use. Next, we do not include articles here if they do not meet the notability standards set by Wikipedia. In addition, please read the general guidelines for article inclusion. Articles here are created and maintained by third parties. We really don't want autobiographies as it tends to be bias which goes against out neutral point of view policy. Finally, if you still want to make a page about yourself you should go through the articles for creation process. I see that you have already created a draft. When you are finished with it place {{subst:submit}} on the top of the article. This will signal that is ready for review and another, non-involved, editor will take a look at your article and make sure it fits with Wikipedia guidelines and policies. However, I can tell you right now that your article will be rejected as it does not have any references nor any validation that it is notable. --Stabila711 (talk) 00:28, 26 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

But to answer your actual question, Bobridgesphotography, if you did go through the process Stabila711 described, and an editor accepted your draft, they would sort out the naming problem, probably by the use of hatnotes. Rename group of articles for easier identification[edit]

I have created an article called Neighborhoods of Buffalo, New York. Currently, many neighborhoods have their own articles and I feel it will be easier to write about some of them in their own article as has been done with Tulsa and San Fransisco. @Buffaboy: To my knowledge there isn't a "quick" way to rename multiple articles. You would have to go through and manually move each one. However, I am a little confused on what exactly you are looking to rename them to? --Stabila711 (talk) 02:11, 26 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted article "red box" template - where did it go?[edit]

Whenever I click on a redlink, I'm used to seeing the deletion template (you know, the "big red box" saying "This page has been deleted".) to indicate that an article has been previously deleted. Lately, it doesn't seem to be appearing, even on articles that I know existed before. What has happened to it? Any info is appreciated. Mizzou1993 (talk) 18:38, 26 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Do bots watch the Help Desk archive?[edit]

I happen to be browsing old questions in the Help Desk archives. I came across one page where the archived questions were deleted. It does not appear to be a good-faith edit: the edit summary is nonsense and it is not a help-desk type question. Does User:ClueBot NG or any other anti vandalism bot watch the Help Desk archives to catch edits that clobber the archived questions? Also, should the archive pages be semi-protected to prevent this sort of thing?

I warned the person who deleted the page. All of the person's edits looked like vandalism. Although it was over several years.

RudolfRed I have made appropriate corrections to archive pages from time to time, but only because I enjoy looking at archive pages so I am unlikely to catch this type of vandalism.
