I just reread it as I missed it in my first reading sorry for the disruption! VarunFEB2003 12:11, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Does every bus stop linked in this category deserve to have an article of its own. Even if needs to exist here why not create 1 article with all of them? I need help! PrimeHunter? VarunFEB2003 11:48, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@VarunFEB2003: The folks at WT:INB might be able to help. - NQ (talk) 12:15, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ask of Written Permission[edit]

Dear Director,

I need your written permission tp use some content of your link about William_M._Branhamin in my book True Faith. See the Link: William M. Branham

Thank you so much for your response.

God bless,

Content in Wikipedia is licensed for re-use as long as you attribute it. See WP:REUSE RudolfRed (talk) 16:21, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • What RudolfRed just said. I will also quote WP:LICENSE:
The Wikimedia Foundation does not own copyright on Wikipedia article texts or illustrations. It is therefore pointless to email our contact addresses asking for permission to reproduce articles or images; even if rules at your company, school, or organization mandate that you ask web site operators before copying their content.
We - the help desk volunteers - are not representatives of the WMF, but the point still stands: none can give you a written paper to release copyright. You can however re-use most of the content freely, as long as you attribute it to Wikipedia. TigraanClick here to contact me 16:26, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong CEO name for Agel Enterprises[edit]

Agel Enterprises (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)

On your Agel Enterprises page you have Jeff Higgginson as CEO but he was been fired and replaced as CEO by the founder Glen Jensen — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.123.33.149 (talk) 17:16, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the information. Could you please cite a reliable source for that change; it is needed for our policy of verifiability. Murph9000 (talk) 17:37, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Agel Enterprises has no mention of Jeff Higginson and has not been edited in a month.
Are you by any chance referring to a photo or text shown to the right of a Google search? Google's Knowledge Graph uses a wide variety of sources. There may be a text paragraph ending with "Wikipedia" to indicate that particular text was copied from Wikipedia. An image and other text before or after the Wikipedia excerpt may be from sources completely unrelated to Wikipedia. We have no control over how Google presents our information, but Google's Knowledge Graph has a "Feedback" link where anyone can mark a field as wrong. Article Help[edit]

Hello, I wrote an article the other day in an effort to define the field Contract Packaging Engineering with a definition, history, educational requirements, common expertise etc. and it got flagged for removal. I spent a good amount of time gather the information to write the article because I am asked frequently about it. I in no way intend to promote a company or service or anything and I was wondering if I could get some feedback as to what I can do to my article to have it not be flagged for removal? Thank you very much, your feedback is invaluable. Jessica Bargilione — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jessica Bargilione (talkcontribs) 17:57, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Jessica Bargilione: The messages on your talk page give you the standard descriptions of the issues that caused it to be deleted. Most of us can't see the actual article text now, as only administrators can see the deleted contributions, so we can't comment on specifics there. The messages on your talk page will have various links to polices and general advice; if you don't understand any specific things, please ask about them. I will include the standard reply on creating new articles below, and the standard reply for deleted articles; they have a number of links which may help you.
To create an article, follow these steps:
  1. Read Your first article carefully.
  2. If you don't have an account, consider creating one (it's not essential, but it makes some things easier, especially communicating with other editors) and logging in.
  3. Learn the basics of editing with the Wikipedia:Tutorial
  4. Make sure the subject is notable enough to warrant a stand-alone article
  5. Gather reliable sources to cite in the article
  6. Make sure no article on the subject exists under a different title by typing the subject into the search box and clicking 'Search'
  7. Use the Article Wizard to create a draft.
  8. Create the article, including all your references, making sure you adhere to the Manual of Style and our article layout guidelines. Base the article on what the references say, rather than on what you know.
  9. Once you believe that your draft meets Wikipedia's requirements, submit it for review by picking the "Submit your draft for review" button in the draft.
  10. Be aware that many drafts are not accepted the first time, or even the second time they are submitted for review, for failing to adhere to our policies and guidelines. New articles by new users are particularly likely not to be accepted, due to new users' unfamiliarity with our rules. Consider gaining experience by editing existing articles before attempting to create new ones.
Please see Why was my page deleted? :The most common reasons are:
To find the specific reason a particular page was deleted:
  1. Go to the Deletion Log
  2. Type the page title in the case-sensitive search field
  3. The date, time and reason for deletion will be displayed
