August 25[edit]

In the "Grandparents" section - I have failed to add an extra page that is underneath the Grandparents caption. Both the Lupton family and the Martineau family should be evident. Both families are ancestors to Michael Middleton and have there own page. Sorry for the inconvenience. 203.39.128.90 (talk) 07:16, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Small fix. Done. Lourdes 08:02, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please help - I have accidentally removed a black and white photograph of Francis Lupton in the Ancestry section. Please leave in the comma editions that I made. Please replace the photo. Sorry thanks 2001:8003:4F57:7700:C15E:1E13:3788:3218 (talk) 11:18, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

 Fixed
The insertion of a comma in the file name meant that the image would no longer display because the file name had been changed. File names in articles have to be exactly the same as the file name on Wikipedia or it won't display. It may be a very small change but it is a vital one. How can i edit an article permenent — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nickyjamprelcangri32178756 (talkcontribs) 14:57, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

To increase the chances of your edits "sticking", you should use edit summaries to explain your rationale for the edits. Also be sure to cite reliable sources when adding, or significantly changing, content. When you find an edit you've made has been reverted, the best thing to do is to open a discussion on the article's talk page. (Judging from your contributions, that would be Talk:Nicky Jam.) Incidentally, you seem to be editing with two different accounts: User:Nickyjamprelcangri32178756 and User:Nickyjamprelcangri78756. Please pick one account and stop using the other one. And sign your talk-page posts by typing four consecutive tildes (~~~~). RivertorchFIREWATER 15:17, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
