Von Joshua[edit]

Correction on Von Joshua baseball player..He went to Laney College, and signed out of there . From there he went to Cal State Haywood for another year.

After his baseball career as a player ended, he went on to coach in the LA Dodgers minor league system for 10years as their hitting coach. From there he went on as the hitting coach for the Chicago White Sox minor league system for 10yrs. The last 4 years with the Chicago White Sox he coached in the major league system, where in the year 2000 they made records across the board. After the White Sox he was the hitting coordinator for the Toronto Blue Jays for 1 1/2 years. After leaving the Blue Jays he went on as the hitting coach for the Chicago Cubs AA and AAA teams. In 2009 he was the major league interim hitting coach replacing Gerald Perry . In 2010 he went back as the Chicago Cubs AAA Iowa Cubs hitting coach.

In 2014 he went on to coach for CPBL league in Taiwan. He was the hitting coach and manager for the EDA Rhinos. In 2016 the Rhinos won the CPBL Championship. In 2017 the Rhinos were sold and now called the Fubon Guardians were he is still presently working. [Edit conflict] Jjoshua39, the appropriate place to raise concerns is on the Talk page of the article in question: you have already left a cryptic message there, whose import is unclear. You need to specify there exactly which pieces of text you think should be changed, what you think each should be changed to, and provide supporting references to Reliable Sources for all such changes. in-article disambiguation template at the top of the page[edit]

Greetings, How does one fix an opening disambiguation ({{there really should be a disambiguation page}}) template? I have tried to add disambiguation to the searchterm result "cybercell", as all across India, cybercell is known as a term referring to cybercrime investigators (Police Force of India), but wikipedia returns only one article, about E-Coli.

I submitted an edit to add an organization and its description, following closely the guidelines about sources and conflict of interest. I did this a few months ago, but I still have not received answer or seen it published or deleted. How long do these requests usually take?

Irritating notices[edit]

OK. there are pages A,B,C,D and Z and Template Q and I watch page Z. Template Q is already on pages A, B, C, and D. I add Z to template Q. When someone edits page A and adds anything, I get the notice that a link was made page A to Z, even though the changes to A have nothing to do with page Z. Is there any way that I can keep from getting the same notice when pages B, C, and D next change *other* than to stop watching Z?Naraht (talk) 23:58, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You didn't post a real example so I cannot check who created "Z" but it sounds like you describe the "Page link" feature at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-echo which is supposed to notify you about links to pages you created and not pages you watch. You can disable the feature completely. I don't think you can limit the feature to omit links via templates. PrimeHunter (talk) 00:42, 19 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

'Z' in this case is Theta Sigma Upsilon, which as was pointed out, I did create. So no way to keep getting notices for pages that I created last week while disabling it for those I created years ago.
