February 7[edit]

Content Move[edit]

Please move the content of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tallest_towers#List_of_tallest_crosses into the article List of tallest crosses. Your SILLY software does not allow making new articles!!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Merswenn (talkcontribs) 00:15, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You must be autoconfirmed to create articles. Also, please maintain an encyclopedic tone when editing other articles. LittlePuppers (talk) 00:43, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Withdrawing a FAC nomination[edit]

Hi i just got a user message about withdrawing a FAC nomination and I would like to know how to do it Lomrjyo (talk) 03:48, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Lomrjyo, as it happens, the people who actually wrote the article have agreed to take over the nomination, see Wikipedia:Featured article candidates#Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki since it was almost at that standard anyway, so you don't need to do anything in this instance Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:24, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Cite closing credits.[edit]

I want to cite the closing credits that appeared in a music video. Please help. What template can I use? Template:Cite AV media? Beyoncetan (talk) 11:35, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Beyoncetan, yes the AVmedia template is probably the easiest way to do it. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 13:17, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Dodger67: Thank you! Beyoncetan (talk) 13:18, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Content in wrong order after publishing[edit]

I made an edit to the following page this morning adding JUNO Award nominations from yesterday. On the source page it looks normal but after publishing the Awards and NOminations have moved under Links. How do I correct that? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Reid#Awards_and_nominations — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hendrikpape (talkcontribs) 13:34, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed it. You didn't close the table properly (using |}). nagualdesign 13:46, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

New Information Boxes Disappeared?[edit]

Recently, for a few weeks, while using Wikipedia, when I scrolled over a link, a box with an image (usually) and some further information on that link popped up. I can't figure out how to make that feature come back. Please explain to me if it is possible. — Preceding unsigned comment added by KevinBumgardner (talkcontribs) 16:46, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

WP:Tools/Navigation popups is enabled at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-gadgets. --David Biddulph (talk) 16:56, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@KevinBumgardner: There are two different features which can do that: "Page previews" at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-rendering and "Navigation popups" at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-gadgets. Don't enable them at the same time. "Page previews" is more stable but "Navigation popups" has more features. PrimeHunter (talk) 17:09, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
