How to edit michael aventti page

[edit]

Sourcd says he worked on 150 campaigns without stating party affiliation. Page says democratic and republican campaigns. Seems incorrect based on cited source in an attempt to demonstrate bi-partisanship which is yet to be proven. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mfrafferty7785 (talkcontribs) 01:23, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Mfrafferty7785:I assume you mean Michael Avenatti. Please take this discussion to the article's talk page (talk:Michael Avenatti). You and other interested editors can reach a consensus there on exactly how to word this in the article. You may also choose to simply edit the article, and then go to the talk page only when someone reverts your edit (see WP:BRD). Don't take offence if you get reverted using this method as it is a normal way to start the discussion. Discussion on the talk page hang around for awhile. Content discussions are not a good idea here on the help desk since they disappear quickly. -Arch dude (talk) 01:44, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong character name in Young Doctors in Love

[edit]

For the character protrayed Kyle T. Heffner, you list him as Dr. Chamberlain, in the movie he is listed as Dr. Leto. Another actor is Dr. Chamberlain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1702:3950:1C70:A9DA:3164:92F0:B1EC (talk) 06:18, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please take this to the article's talk page at talk:Young Doctors in Love. Please provide a reliable source (see WP:RS). If you feel up to it, go ahead and update the article itself, but be sure to cite your source.-Arch dude (talk) 16:35, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect information on my Wikipedia page

[edit]

There is incorrect information on my page.(Joel Feeney)

Birthdate should be : August 3 1959

I do not live in Whitby I live in Toronto — Preceding unsigned comment added by Novembersongs (talkcontribs) 13:03, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Novembersongs - looks like someone added that material without citing a reliable source, so I've removed it for now due to our strict policy for articles about living people. However, that article altogether is a concern. The only sources in the article are a Myspace page and the subject's official website, neither of which are at all reliable, and furthermore, both are actually dead links. We may should take this to the BLP noticeboard. I actually can't find any reliable sources with a Google search. Thanks for reporting.--SkyGazer 512 Oh no, what did I do this time? 13:25, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

John de Gray

[edit]

II was trying to read an article of John de Gray who archbishop of Norwich in 1214. and there was a picture of a man exposing his penis . Can you do something to get rid of this offensive picture , as I am sure that others ,including myself dont want to see that when reading an article. Yours Sincerely , Dave Jennings. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.189.87.82 (talk)

Sorry you had to see this. The image was added by an anonymous vandal several times, and reverted in 2 minutes or less each time so you were just unlucky. The user concerned has been blocked and the article protected to prevent others vandalising it. Thryduulf (talk) 23:25, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Table width setting no longer working

[edit]

At the top of my user talk page I have a gallery of the barnstars and similar I've been given. This used to be aligned in a right-aligned column below the archive box. I've not changed anything with the code, either on that page or at user:Thryduulf/Barnstars where the awards are transcluded from. However this no longer works and despite reading various table help pages I can't get it to do what it used to do. Any help appreciated. Thryduulf (talk) 23:21, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I added a pipe to start a cell.[1] Does that look like you want? PrimeHunter (talk) 23:29, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It's not perfect (and I can't articulate quite why) but it's good enough. Thank you. Thryduulf (talk) 23:30, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
