The Greenpoint waterfront's views are one of the communities great assets and the text on the image clearly describes the content of the image. Comment (I would say Delete, but I kind of nominated this image for deletion to begin with, so it would be redundant.) To be more precise, the Williamsburg article uses a view of the Williamsburg Bridge as its image. This is relevant because this bridge provides a road/subway connection from Williamsburg to Manhattan. A generic view of the Manhattan skyline that happens to be taken from Greenpoint contributes little to the article for that neighborhood. I also see that you (greenpoint) have uploaded a new version of the image, sans text. However, this particular file (Gpskyline.jpg) still has the text, and thus should be deleted. —Larry V (talk) 00:31, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
