The NYTM Wikipedia Edit-a-thon is a chance to contribute your textile knowledge and expertise by adding and editing articles in Wikipedia on topics related to textiles, their history, production and cultural importance.

Organizers

This NYTM event has been organized as a collaboration between Helen Lane, Emerging Technologies Librarian and Eric Ramirez, Chair, Textile & Surface Design, both of Fashion Institute of Technology with Willem Schenk, Executive Assistant to Lidewij Edelkoort, Dean of Hybrid Design Studies and Associate Provost, Parsons School of Design. Assistance and support has also been received by Richard Knipel, Wikipedian in Residence at the Guggenheim Museum and Jennifer Yao-Weinraub, Librarian at the New School Libraries.
