For Asian television shows that have “boys love” category but not one for girls?[edit]

I’m someone who loves Kdramas and Jdramas and looking at the category sections for different genres of Kdramas to watch here on Wikipedia, I noticed there was no clear LGBTQ category page for South Korean shows but there was one for “Boys love”. I clicked on it and found there are sections of “boys love” for Korean, Japanese, Chinese shows, etc. But when I tried to see if there was a category page for those countries with “Girls love” shows there were none available. Why is that? There have been Korean, Japanese, Chinese, shows etc with Lesbian and other queer girl characters so why are they not being represented on Wikipedia with those specific categories? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cecildeed (talkcontribs) 05:32, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is run by volunteers; nobody is more responsible for it being correct and complete than you are. So, if you see something that needs fixing, the best course of action is to fix it. You can create and assign categories just like anyone else. For help with categories, see Help:Categories. If you need further assistance, the fine folks at Wikipedia:Help desk will be happy to help.
