How wealthy was Einstein

[edit]

The article for Mileva Marić mentions that they had three investment properties of which she sold two. But I didn't see much else about his wealth. Was he rather wealthy? And what was his salary near the end of his life? †Dismas†|(talk) 00:35, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

According to this he was worth about $1,000,000 at his death in 1955. That would be about $8.86 million today.[1]. There's an article here that discusses his salary at Princeton, where he was employed for the last several decades of his life. --Jayron32 00:52, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
In Einstein's 1919 divorce settlement, he left his Nobel prize money (which he received in 1922) to Marić and his two sons.

Wealth became different for Einstein than the rest of us. He & his secretary had problems balancing his bank account because nobody would ever cash checks he wrote. To get them to cash them, he had to promise people (e.g. I. F. Stone) that he would send them back the cancelled check.John Z (talk) 06:11, 4 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Clemenules

[edit]

Good afternoon

I am a very fussy eater. I hate fruit and vegetables.

After much sampling I have discovered that I like the specific variety of "Clementine Clemenules" so long as they are larger than 59mm. This is the only fruit I can eat. I hate all other varieties of Clementine such as Nova, Orri, and Nules.

CLASS 1 FRUIT
Size: 65mm
Fruit: Clementine
Variety: Clemenule
Grown by: Kat River, SA

Please can you inform me when "Clemenules" are likely to be available in UK supermarkets again. They are currently unavailable and have not been stocked since July 27th 2016. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ClemenuleKing (talkcontribs) 14:01, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Harvest & Availability: Early November to early February: from Spain. May to August: from South Africa. June to August: from Argentina, Uruguay, Peru. If your suppliers have run out of stock, you are unlikely to see any more until nearly Christmas. Wymspen (talk) 16:11, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
