Hey guys-

Just wondering if this looks good for a wiki page for 12th Planet, the dubstep dj/producer from Los Angeles. I don't know how to upload a picture, so it's missing one. Other than that I believe it fits the notability criteria :)

I made en entry about the town of Heindonk in Belgium, Europe. All information in the article is just facts about the town, particullary its geographic characteristics.

This is an article I wrote about Dr Royston Paget. It is so people can get to know him a bit more and be more relaxed and comfortable. Students, teachers etc can get to know the inspirational man that had taught them or is going to teach them. Hope it is alright, it took me ages haha. I also can't upload a pic because I'm on my iPad and that I can't because it won't let me Thanks :)

Hi PESP95. Thanks for your work. Unfortunately at the moment your article is at a high risk of being deleted because it doesn't cite sources properly. Wikipedia has a very strict policy that Biographies of Living People must give their sources, and the sources need to be independant and reliable. The policy is necessary because otherwise writers could say anything they wanted about people in wikipedia articles. It seems like you've tried to add references, but you've just listed websites - you need to link to the particular page that proves each piece of information in the article. You needn't worry too much about the formating looking right (if you just stick in the weblinks, someone can tidy up later) but it's vital that you get them in there. See Wikipedia:Verifiability for more details. Best of luck. --Physics is all gnomes (talk) 21:34, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey,

This article about Heindonk, village in Belgium, Europe. Mainly description of its geographic charcteristics.

Please offer feedback on corrected article. Several references have been listed. More can be added if needed. I have altered the article several times, but see that no editor review has been done since September 2010. Original feedback said the article reads like an advertisement, yet I don't believe that is the case, especially with revisions. Looking for your input. Thanks.

hair-pencil[edit]

I am interested in knowing if the article makes sense when read, and how I can put in some images that I have of hair-pencils. additionally I tried to make a search for hairpencil redirect to my article, but wasn't able to do it. Finally I want to know if it would be a good idea to link some of the terms into other articles in case someone was curious about them when reading my article? Thanks

Great amount of content for a new article :D Yes, definitely wikilink to terms that are unusual, that is one of the best things about wikipedia! I found that the first section was a bit confusing for a layperson, it would help to give more background - in particular explain very briefly what lepidopteran means, or give an example. Here is a page that gives good advice on how to write technical articles that are understandable to laypeople.
I've changed some of the formatting so that it matches the standard wikipedia articles. I think the article would look great with a picture - you can search for some here [[1]] that are licensed for use on wikipedia.--Physics is all gnomes (talk) 16:32, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
PS. I sorted out the redirect--Physics is all gnomes (talk) 17:10, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is my first new post in Wikipedia, and I wanted to get feedback before making the changes live. All information in my post comes from the book itself, except for the ISBN-13, which I got from Amazon.com (the book gives the older form of ISBN).

User:Bosents/Gary_Williams_(singer)[edit]

Hello. Could you advise on whether there are sufficient reliable sources here to make the article notable. There are reviews in national newspapers, but the papers are now access only by paying a fee, so not allowed on Wikipedia.

Gary Williams (the singer) is linked incorrectly to the football coach in this article: wiki-link: "John_Wilson_Orchestra"

Thanks.

I have just completed this article on Bob Herbold, a former COO at Microsoft and author of three books on leadership. Bob's wife, Patricia, is a former U.S. Ambassador to Singapore. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Mathematics_and_Computer_Education_Journal[edit]

I built this article based on another journal description I saw in wikipedia. As an academic I feel that every refereed journal probably should be in wikipedia. The information in it is all derived from the mathematics and computer education website. I hope it is acceptable for wikipedia.
