Hi, I'm hoping to get help getting this article published. I submitted it for help some weeks ago but can't find where that post went. Does it get deleted after a while if it receives no answers? Thanks Huynhminh1002 (talk) 13:47, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Huynhminh1002. Your previous post [1], does not appear to have been archived (or answered). I'm copying it below and hopefully, someone will respond. Voceditenore (talk) 15:35, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me with retouching this article that was rejected some time ago. I've added another source that I hope gives the article sufficient credibility, though I'm not sure if it will be accepted if I resubmit it.

Here's the link in case the link in the title doesn't work: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Refund.me

All help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I need help creating two different wikipedia pages

[edit]

I was wondering if someone could help me with entering an articles for creation. I work for OTG, award-winning food and beverage operator, and we are looking to create two submissions—one for CEO and Founder Rick Blatstein and one for OTG. This past October, I tried to create both pages with the copy I was given, but after the review process, it got denied for copyright. I realize that I probably wasn’t addressing the exact steps needed to be taken, but I am a little confused on how to do so. I need to get this posted ASAP, so please let me know what I can do in order to get this completed. Many thanks!AlexandraRuffing (talk) 14:14, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Alexandra. Your draft for Rick Blatstein is still here at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Rick Blatstein where you can continue to work on it. It isn't copyvio but it is hopelessly promotional and completely unreferenced. It will never be accepted in that state. For the other one on OTG, you will have start from scratch via Wikipedia:Article wizard. And, I mean from scratch. Do not copy material from anywhere. It must be completely original or it will be immediately deleted. But before you even start with the Wizard, read Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations very carefully. Then, read our guidelines on editing with a conflict of interest, which you clearly have since you work for the company. (It also shows in the way you've written in the Blatstein draft.) After that, read Wikipedia:Your first article—all the way through. There is no fast way to produce an acceptable article. Voceditenore (talk) 15:19, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Title - Draft: Buia Cranium

This is user TrentGymnast and I am trying to get my article out of Draft and into the review process for an anthropology class. I wrote this article all by myslef - I have no idea what I am doing wrong and I just get the same response with no details. Please Help!

You haven't had a rejection on Draft:Buia cranium, because you haven't yet submitted it for review. Before you try to do that, however, you need to read some of the links which I have placed on your user talk page, in particular WP:Your first article and WP:Referencing for beginners. When you are convinced that you have addressed what those (and the linked pages) tell you (but not before), you can then submit it for review by placing {{subst|submit}} at the top of the draft. --David Biddulph (talk) 17:05, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
To editor TrentGymnast: The code is actually {{subst:submit}} (note the colon). Anon126 (notify me of responses! / talk / contribs) 20:22, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I sent an email to permissions@wikipedia, and I wanted to ask you for the BEST way to rename file images, as well as link or upload file images to Wikipedia.

In an article for Creation, I wrote this:

|image =Madeline Sands

However, it does not work. I am having a lot of trouble adding and renaming images. From now on, I will upload images with the exact file description that I would like to have on Wikipedia. I've read a number of Wikipedia help guides for photos, but I still have trouble. Please assist.

Hi, Julie at Smallworldsocial. If you are adding an image to an infobox, you can only give the name of the file, that is, |image = YourImage.jpg. If you want to give the source of the image, the place to do that is on the file description page. Type in the name of the file (including the File: prefix), go to the file on Commons, and edit the page.
Your declaration here is not the best way to release the images under a free license. The easiest way is to simply change the license for the images on Flickr to either Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) or Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA). After that, note Flickr as the source on the file description page, so we can make sure that the license has been granted. (Also, note that Flickr uses version 2.0 instead of 3.0 for all CC licenses, so make sure to update that as well.) If you need help updating the description pages, we can do it for you. Thank you Anon126! I have changed all of the licenses for the Flickr photos to: Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY).
