How do we get in touch online? Is there a chat room? Irc channel? Please say not Twitter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chadworth.robertson (talkcontribs) 01:14, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would also like to know how the Remote Participation is being handled. Hangouts, Skype Chat, other chatting options? I recently attended a local Edit-a-thon and had a blast! I'd love to help out remotely if there's a way to correspond with everyone. Thanks!! Kobuu (talk) 15:56, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know what the organizers have in mind, but I'm assuming there will be some kind of chat thing available. I plan to be there in real life, but I'd find it fun to collaborate with remote people as well as nearby people. If the organizers don't have other plans, we can all just set up a temporary IRC channel somewhere and put the details on the event page, so I'd suggest checking back here on Sunday afternoon. :) Dreamyshade (talk) 08:46, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Dreamyshade! I'll do just that! Kobuu (talk) 20:39, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Kobuu and Chadworth.robertson, we are currently on #editathon connect if you want to join! Stephen (talk) 21:49, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Good morning! I must apologize. I was not able to make it to yesterday's edit-a-thon due to some last minute life changes. Grr.. Maybe the next one! Thank you for the notifications, however. Guess I need to get back into IRC! Kobuu (talk) 13:56, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
