Affinity programs, what are they?[edit]

I see affinity programs being:

With the possible exception of the alliances, using common templatees does not work since not all airlines share in these programs equally. Airline 1 may code share will airline 2 but not airline 3. Airline 1 may offer club access with airline 3 but not airline 2.

This leaves open the issue of how to provide this information. The options include:

  • Placing a Category in each article as required
  • Listing these within the article in list format pointing to the main article on the prorgrams (if there is one)

With different programs and members this could amount to a lot of data. It does change, but not all that frequently. Vegaswikian 21:13, 19 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I know what it is![edit]

    • Basically... Affinity programs should be the airline Frequent Flyer program. (ex. WorldPerks, Mileage Plus, Flying Blue, Miles & More, Dividend Miles) That's how it SHOULD be.
