Started campaign

[edit]
  • Feel free to improve the campaign over the next couple of days. The most important thing is the outcome - that people are motivated to fix articles with serious problems.
  • I've got no interest in pinning barnstars to my own lapel like some self-aggrandising generalissimo, but it's open to the rest of you! I take a Napoleonic stance on barnstars and awards...
  • The caveat about false data predating 24 June is just a safety measure - in case anybody felt tempted to game the system by creating a problem which they could then claim credit for cleaning up. bobrayner (talk) 21:58, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well done

[edit]

Thumbs up icon Nice work so far! bobrayner (talk) 18:39, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting example

[edit]

I fixed up the Panamanian Public Forces article a few days ago, which included fixing and referencing the figure for the total size of this force. A couple of days ago an IP editor came along and, without any explanation, added 10,000 to that figure! Nick-D (talk) 00:09, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Still going strong!

[edit]

We've got an impressively long list of articles that have been cleaned up! But don't forget to watchlist pages, and include diffs of specific errors which have been removed... bobrayner (talk) 10:04, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
