Pageview stats
After a recent request, I added WikiProject Oklahoma to the list of projects to compile monthly pageview stats for. The data is the same used by http://stats.grok.se/en/ but the program is different, and includes the aggregate views from all redirects to each page. The stats are at Wikipedia:WikiProject Oklahoma/Popular pages.
The page will be updated monthly with new data. The edits aren't marked as bot edits, so they will show up in watchlists. You can view more results, request a new project be added to the list, or request a configuration change for this project using the toolserver tool. Tulsa World
Hello, I am a fairly new registered user and have been trying to clean up the Tulsa World page, as was on your list of pages to clean up. I found citations for some of the statements in it that were uncited, removed extra spaces and got rid of World references, replacing them with Tulsa World. I also tried to get rid of some biased wording like "highly personal" in a sentence. Please keep an eye on it, to move it out of the cleaning up category when you are happy with my improvements. GA Reassessment of Oklahoma Sooners football

Oklahoma articles have been selected for the Wikipedia 0.8 release
Version 0.8 is a collection of Wikipedia articles selected by the Wikipedia 1.0 team for offline release on USB key, DVD and mobile phone. Articles were selected based on their assessed importance and quality, then article versions (revisionIDs) were chosen for trustworthiness (freedom from vandalism) using an adaptation of the WikiTrust algorithm.
We would like to ask you to review the Oklahoma articles and revisionIDs we have chosen. Selected articles are marked with a diamond symbol (♦) to the right of each article, and this symbol links to the selected version of each article. I have created together with Smallman12q a toolserver tool that shows a weekly-updated list of cleanup categories for WikiProjects, that can be used as a replacement for WolterBot and this WikiProject is among those that are already included (because it is a member of Category:WolterBot cleanup listing subscriptions). Norman music festival
I recently created an article on the Norman Music Festival. It's probably as complete as it can be for now. I've noticed that most Oklahoma-related articles say that they are "within the scope of Wikiprojects Oklahoma." US Collaboration reactivated & Portal:United States starting next
Casliber recently posted a suggestion on the talk page for WikiProject United States about getting the US Wikipedians Collaboration page going again in an effort to build up articles for GA through FA class. See Wikipedia:U.S. Wikipedians' notice board/USCOTM. After several days of work from him the page is up and ready for action. A few candidates have already been added for you to vote on or you can submit one using the directions provided. If you are looking for inspiration here is a link to the most commonly viewed articles currently under the scope of Wikiproject United States. There are tons of good articles in the various US related projects as well so feel free to submit any article relating to US topics (not just those under the scope of WPUS). This noticeboard is intended for ‘’’All’’’ editors working on US subjects, not just those under WPUS.
The next item I intend to start updating is Portal:United States if anyone is interested in helping. Again this is not specific to WPUS and any help would be greatly appreciated to maximize visibility of US topics. The foundation has already been established its just a matter of updating the content with some new images, biographies and articles. It was recently suggested that this project be included in the list of projects supported by WikiProject United States. After reviewing the project it appears that there have been very little activity on either the main project page or talk page. First let me say that the project page with members stay basically as they are with the members able to dictate how things happen, scope of the project, etc. Its not going to be absorbed or dissolved and the scope won't change unless the members want it too. How it will be supported can depend on what the members of the project want. Typically though since WPUS is a bigger project with a lot more members, it has a newsletter, a monthly collaboration, multiple bots that run actively through the articles for various things (as can be seen on the members page) with more being setup as we go along.
The main change would be that the WikiProject banner would be replaced with the WPUS banner and would support the full range of quality and importance categories. You can take a look at Category talk:Visitor attractions in South Carolina to see an example of how it will look in the banner. All the projects support a standard group of parameters such as Needs infobox, image, map, attention, geo coordinates, references, etc. We also have categories for tracking which articles have to do lists and comments associated to them. We will also make sure that any applicable automation tools are setup such as article alerts, Recognized content, popular pages, etc. This also reduces the number of banners on the talk page of the articles and still allows various bots to do their business, etc.
This all means that the project and its articles will be seen by a lot of people in a lot of ways. It will allow the editors of the United States to work as one big team as well as in smaller groups in there projects rather than a bunch of individual projects with little contact between them. It will expand the projects current level of automation and expand its ability to categorize different problems in articles so they can be addressed.
Just for general info up till now we have mostly been concentrating on building up the project but by the end of the month we will have pretty much determined who needs or wants support and will be able to focus on other things like recruiting for the projects and article improvement some drives to build up articles, create new ones, etc. I hope this helps. With all that said if the project members aren't interested in support that.s fine. I didn't realize how inactive this wikiproject has been recently. Personally I cannot see any advantages of changing this wikiproject's template and would prefer not to join WPUS. WPUS already is the parent project of WPOK so further integration seems unnecessary. - The project is active just not on the project pages all the members are actively editing. I did a purge of the members list a few weeks back just to check and everyone of them was editing. As for me I don't see any disadvantageous to merging its not like the project will just go away If anything it might pull members in. But with ether option its up to the project to decide in the end. As a longtime participant in WikiProject Oklahoma, I strongly oppose the proposal to place it under the banner of WikiProject United States for three reasons:
(1) As noted by other Wikipedians contributing to this discussion, WikiProject Oklahoma is already a “child WikiProject” of WikiProject United States which should render this discussion moot. (2) One of reasons I have always liked WikiProject Oklahoma is its wider array of articles in comparison to other U.S. state WikiProjects, which could be subjected to even more deletion discussions and criticisms of non-notability or low-importance if the WikiProject were placed under the banner of WikiProject United States. (3) Based upon my experience with WikiProject United States Government, another WikiProject that met the “fate” being proposed here, I saw a sharp decline in activity at that WikiProject following its placement under the “support” of WikiProject United States.
I hope that the arguments I have presented above will help convince my fellow WikiProject Oklahoma participants that this proposal should be soundly rejected. --TommyBoy (talk) 03:48, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
- Its really no problem to me if the members don't want to be supported but just for clarification being a child project doesn't = support. The bots, newsletter etc won't automatically go to the members and the bots won't run against the articles. As for US Government, that project was marked inactive when I added it to the list of supported projects (as well as several others such as Us governors and US state legislatures) and I would argue the definition of decline, more articles have been added to the project and more edits have been made to those articles. I'm not sure why the activity dropped off but it could also be contributed to the sharp decline in overall editor participation throughout Wikipedia. Which is part of the reason I am trying to see what projects want or need support. In general though I would say the editors just lost interest and moved on, which is a shame. These projects individually still need editor participation I am simply trying to take some of the pressure off so the editors can focus more on the articles and less on the projects. --Kumioko (talk) 13:17, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
I think for the time being, not at this time. I just don't see any real advantages overall and I like the autonomous of this project. Granted, the project itself has been lacking in vision and direction for some time on what needs to be done, but I don't see how incorporating into another project will help drive interest to edit articles about OK. A couple suggestions for the project
Since this project does not wish to be supported by WikiProject United States I'll leave these suggestions here if anyone wants to take them for action.
- I found quite a bit of content containing Oklahoma, Ok, OK and Tulsa that isn't tagged for the project yet. I created a page for that here with about 6000 pieces of content. There are quite a few redirects but there are a lot of articles as well. There may also be a few false positives but I haven't scrubbed it much yet.
- The project doesn't currently track the following things: needing infoboxes, needing references, containing comments, containing to do lists, the project doesn't have a to do list linked, needing geo coordinates, needing images, needing attention, needing maps. This will allow editors interested in that topic area to more easily focus there efforts.
- The project doesn't currently track non article content of: Category, Template, Book, Redirect, Project, Portal, Disambig, File and FM. I recommend adding these. This will allow Article alert bot to notify the project if any of these content types are suggested for discussion, deletion, review, etc without having to watch all the for discussion, deletion, review boards as closely.
- The University of Oklahoma project seems to be inactive and I recommend lookingn into adding it as a taskforce to the Oklahoma project. --Kumioko (talk) 14:29, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

- First I would suggest creating a sandbox for the template and make sure they work before implementing on the live template. I would recommend creating the categories first and then adding the coding to the template. Then you'll need to populate the categories either by hand or by bot. There are several bots capable of doing this. - Unforunately, not really. There is some documentation but its pretty lacking in my opinion and rather hard to follow. Frankly working with the WikiProject banner template coding can make the head hurt. I went ahead and created the coding in the sandbox so you can see what it looks like. I have found that the easiest way to create all the categories and pages when adding multiple items like this is to add all the ones you want to a subpage and then just start from the top and work down. Some things can be easily templated like the class and importance categories because you usually only have to change one or 2 things from one category to the next. I created a subpage here to make it easier to determine what categories and project pages need to be created. I used the standard naming I have been using for the WPUS pages in case this project is supported at some point in the future. I hope this helps. --Kumioko (talk) 02:39, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

- All categories are built, most pages are created, I fixed the template code so you should be able to implement that whenever your ready. I also verified tulsa and UofOK were setup for Recognized content with JL-bot and Article alertbot so whenever those kick off they should be good to go. The only thing that still needs to be done is to update the projects to do lists and to populate the new categories with content. The other thing I didn't do was to consolodate the membership lists. What I recommend here is to create subpages under the projects for Active members, then put all the active members on the membership page of the Oklahoma project so that if a user adds their name in either place it updates both. Please let me know if you need any more help. Oh sorry you might want to update the template doumentation as well once its implemented. and deprecate the UofOK template. WikiProject University of Oklahoma→Task-force OU
It seems that there is consensuses to bring the project under WikiProject Oklahoma I believe a name change is in order I plan to change it to Task-force OU. Merging the banners
Did you still want some help with merging the UOFOK banner with Oklahoma? If so I can probably start working on that in the next couple days. More editors' eyes would be appreciated at the Bavinger House article. This important Bruce Goff house in Norman, a winner of the AIA Twenty-five Year Award, recently suffered serious damage of uncertain origin and is now closed; the article has seen a series of edits from a variety of IP addresses making a variety of changes, some of which delete reliable sources and replace them with unreliable ones, some of which have made unsourced accusations against the University of Oklahoma or persons connected therewith, and many of which appear to violate WP:NPOV, WP:OR, and/or (in some earlier versions) WP:BLP. (See this comparison [1] showing the cumulative changes by the IP editors over the last week.) Engaging constructively with the IP editor(s) has proven difficult. WikiWomen's History Month
Hi everyone. March is Women's History Month and I'm hoping a few folks here at WP:Oklahoma will have interest in putting on events (on and off wiki) related to women's roles in Oklahoma's history, society and culture. We've created an event page on English Wikipedia (please translate!) and I hope you'll find the inspiration to participate. OK Digital Maps Collection
I was referred to this page after being reprimanded. I have gone through the process of asking permission to add an external link-http://www.library.okstate.edu/okmaps/ Oklahoma Digital Maps: Digital Collections of Oklahoma and Indian Territory- to wiki pages that are connected to the topics of oklahoma history and geography. I felt that one of the first editors I communicated with gave me permission to cautiously move forward. I am only adding this external link to pages that I feel are connected in some way to the maps that are in the map's collection housed in the Edmond Low Library at Oklahoma State University. However, other editors have told me to stop even after I have explained what I am adding and that I had previously asked permission. I'm not trying to degrade any of the pages when I add this link but rather I hope to strengthen them. I have reviewed at least 500+ pages related to Oklahoma and I understand that users sometimes add questionable links. I just would hope that someone would take the time to look at the link that I am adding and provide me with a decision on if I can continue or not? I feel I am running out of other options. Hang on while I look into all of this before I give my answer.After looking into the discussions and your edit history and the articles that your placing this link on, I would say that you need to reframe from adding it to every Oklahoma related article as I considered that as link spam, however I see no issue when the link is added to "county articles, city articles, regional articles, historical articles" but I would use caution when placing the link by making sure the link actually is connected to the subject of the article ie if you place the link in Oklahoma County then there should be images of maps of Oklahoma County. Cause if there's no connection then why should there be a link for it. All in all use caution and make sure there's a connection and you should be fine in the eyes of this project.--Dcheagle • talk • contribs 01:27, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Title name for Land Run of 1889
I wonder if you could help me out. I've had a question on Talk:Land Run of 1889 about whether the title should be Oklahoma Land Run of 1889 to be a little clearer.
This question would also apply to:
I have seen it used with and without "Oklahoma", but it seems if a number of articles are named "Oklahoma Land Run..." or "Oklahoma Land Rush...". - Well the main reason why the first one is not named Oklahoma land run of 1889, is the simple fact that at the time Oklahoma didn't exist. Oklahoma territory wasn't established till a year later on May 2, 1890. As for the others its more along the lines of common name. Nearly all of the land runs had other names but most of them are mostly known as the Land Run of 1881 and so on. Also do to the fact that there have never been any other Land runs in the United States there seems to be no why that you can mistake these land runs for any others. If you fill other wise the fill free to request a move on any or all of them. My name is Adi Khajuria and I am helping out with Wikimania 2014 in London.
One of our initiatives is to create leaflets to increase the discoverability of various wikimedia projects, and showcase the breadth of activity within wikimedia. Any kind of project can have a physical paper leaflet designed - for free - as a tool to help recruit new contributors. These leaflets will be printed at Wikimania 2014, and the designs can be re-used in the future at other events and locations.
This is particularly aimed at highlighting less discoverable but successful projects, e.g:

Hello there! As you may already know, most WikiProjects here on Wikipedia struggle to stay active after they've been founded. I believe there is a lot of potential for WikiProjects to facilitate collaboration across subject areas, so I have submitted a grant proposal with the Wikimedia Foundation for the "WikiProject X" project. WikiProject X will study what makes WikiProjects succeed in retaining editors and then design a prototype WikiProject system that will recruit contributors to WikiProjects and help them run effectively. I'm wondering whether there is anyone in Oklahoma, perhaps at university with easy access to databases, who would be able to help me find some primary sources for this article. I'd like to take it to featured-article status, but the secondary sources are inconsistent, so I would need to read the primary sources for myself.
In particular I'm looking for the following:
- Confirmation of the date of death in Okemah, OK, of Deputy Sheriff George H. Loney; I believe he died on 2 May 1911.
- Any newspaper reports, or original legal papers, related to the murder charges, including the preliminary hearing for Lawrence Nelson, which I believe took place on or around 11 May 1911; I believe Lawrence was known as L.D. Nelson or L.W. Nelson.
- Front page of the Okemah Ledger, 25 May 1911; I believe the headline was "Lynchers Avenge the Murder of Geo. Loney, The Nelson Woman and Her Boy are Taken from the County Jail by Unknown Parties and Swung from Bridge Across North Canadian".
- The Omekah Independent, Vol. 7, No. 36, 25 May 1911: "Woman and Boy Lynched, A Mob Enters the County Jail Last Night and Take two Negro Prisoners Whom They Hang from a Bridge".
- The Daily Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, Friday, 26 May 1911: "Woman Lynched by Side of Son, Okfuskee County Mob Takes Double Revenge for Officer's Death, Bridge is Gallows." That one appears to be available here.
- Tulsa World, 26 May 1911: "Mother and Son are Lynched at Okeemah, jailor is surprised and bodies later found dangling from a bridge".
I'd be willing to pay for expenses incurred in accessing the databases. If no one here is able to help directly, any suggestions would be appreciated too, e.g. the names of local historians who may be able to help. The former Bell's Amusement Park in Tulsa had a history of controversies when it was open, and so it is perhaps not surprising that the article also has had a contentious editing history, with recurrent POV issues, and edits removing large amounts of what other editors might deem to be properly sourced and relevant content. Popular pages tool update
As of January, the popular pages tool has moved from the Toolserver to Wikimedia Tool Labs. The code has changed significantly from the Toolserver version, but users should notice few differences. Please take a moment to look over your project's list for any anomalies, such as pages that you expect to see that are missing or pages that seem to have more views than expected. Note that unlike other tools, this tool aggregates all views from redirects, which means it will typically have higher numbers. (For January 2014 specifically, 35 hours of data is missing from the WMF data, which was approximated from other dates. For most articles, this should yield a more accurate number. However, a few articles, like ones featured on the Main Page, may be off).
Web tools, to replace the ones at tools:~alexz/pop, will become available over the next few weeks at toollabs:popularpages. All of the historical data (back to July 2009 for some projects) has been copied over. The tool to view historical data is currently partially available (assessment data and a few projects may not be available at the moment). The tool to add new projects to the bot's list is also available now (editing the configuration of current projects coming soon). Unlike the previous tool, all changes will be effective immediately. OAuth is used to authenticate users, allowing only regular users to make changes to prevent abuse. A visible history of configuration additions and changes is coming soon. Once tools become fully available, their toolserver versions will redirect to Labs.

Proposal to merge Mayo Building (Tulsa, Oklahoma) and Petroleum Building
There are two articles that refer to the same building, Mayo Building (Tulsa, Oklahoma) and Petroleum Building. Both articles are within the scope of this WikiProject. I have proposed merging them at Talk:Mayo_Building_(Tulsa,_Oklahoma)#Merge_with_Petroleum_Building. - I oppose the merger at this time. I question whether these two buildings are identical. The NRHP summary (www.nationalregisterofhistoricplaces.com/OK/Tulsa)/state.html lists them separately with two different NRIS numbers:
- Mayo Building (#08001152) at 420 South Main.
- Petroleum Building (#82003706) at 420 South Boulder.
- The images look similar and both show a building adjacent to the Mayo Hotel. I think more investigation is needed to resolve whether they are the same building, before attempting to merge the pages.Bruin2 (talk) 05:34, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry, we actually got this sorted out yesterday. They are indeed two separate buildings. The infobox for both buildings used to say 420 S. Main Street, but Petroleum Building is actually at 420 S. Boulder Ave. Ipoellet figured out the mistake. The buildings are a block away from one another, and when I was in Tulsa a few months back I went to take photos of the Petroleum Building (not knowing about the Mayo Building), went to the address in the infobox and found the Mayo Building, but since the Petroleum Building was later occupied by the Mayo furniture company, I figured they were the same building. Luckily, I had gotten a bit turned around and when I saw a building numbered "420" in the right general vicinity I took a photo of it, so by random happenstance I did manage to get a photo of the right building. Editing help needed for Oklahoma articles
Many (maybe most) of the articles related to WP:Oklahoma have citations for the Encyclopedia of Oklahoma History and Culture (EOHC). All of these cited articles now have new URLs, so the old links do not work. There are no redirects to the new sites. The new general link for the EOHC on-line index is http://www.okhistory.org/publications/encyclopediaonline. Hi Okies and interested non-Okies! I'm working to improve the article for Aubrey McClendon, current CEO of American Energy Partners, LP and founding CEO of Chesapeake Energy Corporation. McClendon is a local to Oklahoma City and has been heavily involved with many businesses and organizations in the area, so I thought to ask here to see if folks would be able to help.
Are there any editors active here who might be interested in helping me work through some proposed edits? I'm hoping to discuss changes here rather than making the edits myself as I have a conflict of interest. I've written a new draft for the article on behalf of Aubrey McClendon, as a paid consultant, while trying at all times to maintain a neutral tone in my writing. An editor has already reviewed the proposed draft and was mainly positive. While they did have concerns about one section, they've not been back online since I asked if they could clarify a bit so that I can work on updating the draft. Hello all! I was curious if anyone else thought it might be a good idea to make a (nonbinding) guideline on how all the individual US state WikiProjects should organize themselves, to help standardize them. I originally put this suggestion in the WikiProject United States talk page, so feel free to look there if you're interested. It's pretty empty though; basically all they said was to see what each of the individual projects thought about it. Please tell me if you have any concerns with this idea; hopefully we can find a way for everyone to love it! US 50,000 Challenge invite

Help on Oklahoma CEO article
Hi there! I'm looking for editors who might be interested to take a look at updates to an article about an Oklahoma company's CEO. On behalf LegalShield and The Pollack PR Marketing Group, and as part of my work at Beutler Ink, I have drafted an updated and expanded Jeff Bell (executive) Wikipedia article, which currently has a warning banner saying it is written like a résumé and needs additional sources for verification. In my experience, an editor can self-assess up to start-class with little concern from other editors; it is wise to ask others for help. WikiProject collaboration notice from the Portals WikiProject
The reason I am contacting you is because there are one or more portals that fall under this subject, and the Portals WikiProject is currently undertaking a major drive to automate portals that may affect them.
Portals are being redesigned.
The new design features are being applied to existing portals.
At present, we are gearing up for a maintenance pass of portals in which the introduction section will be upgraded to no longer need a subpage. In place of static copied and pasted excerpts will be self-updating excerpts displayed through selective transclusion, using the template {{Transclude lead excerpt}}.
The discussion about this can be found here.
Maintainers of specific portals are encouraged to sign up as project members here, noting the portals they maintain, so that those portals are skipped by the maintenance pass. Currently, we are interested in upgrading neglected and abandoned portals. There will be opportunity for maintained portals to opt-in later, or the portal maintainers can handle upgrading (the portals they maintain) personally at any time.
Background
On April 8th, 2018, an RfC ("Request for comment") proposal was made to eliminate all portals and the portal namespace. On April 17th, the Portals WikiProject was rebooted to handle the revitalization of the portal system. On May 12th, the RfC was closed with the result to keep portals, by a margin of about 2 to 1 in favor of keeping portals.
Since the reboot, the Portals WikiProject has been busy building tools and components to upgrade portals.
So far, 84 editors have joined.

Essential article needed
Posting this here as the article requests page for this project seems pretty abandoned. A page really should exist on Wikipedia about Julius Jones, the prisoner on death row in Oklahoma accused of murder. The case is receiving international attention, people like Kim Kardashian and others have drawn attention to it, and I am surprised it doesn't yet exist on Wikipedia. The current Julius Jones article is about an American football player, but a look at the talk page shows many users are assuming this is the man on death row, hence why this article should exist as it's causing confusion. Can someone please look at this draft? It has been declined for reasons of tone. It is too obviously written to praise its subject. While its subject is notable, and should be praised for a distinguished career in civil rights, Wikipedia praises the great by describing them neutrally and trusting that the reader has common sense. Might I draw your attention to a new redlist of notable Oklahoma women who lack a wikipedia biography, in the form of Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/Missing articles by dictionary/Encyclopedia of Oklahoma History and Culture - drawn from the "The Encyclopedia of Oklahoma History and Culture". Oklahoma: Oklahoma Historical Society.
Right now, there are more than five times as many biographies of men as there are of women on wikipedia - see the Wikidata Human Gender Indicators page. I hope this project will lend its support to addressing this imbalance by creating biographies for women within your project's scope, and perhaps by adopting the Encyclopedia of Oklahoma History and Culture redlist. More generally, WikiProject Women in Red has more than 300 redlists covering perhaps 100,000 notable women for whom we have no biography. thanks

User script to detect unreliable sources
I have (with the help of others) made a small user script to detect and highlight various links to unreliable sources and predatory journals. Some of you may already be familiar with it, given it is currently the 39th most imported script on Wikipedia. The idea is that it takes something like

and turns it into something like

It will work on a variety of links, including those from {{cite web}}, {{cite journal}} and {{doi}}.
The script is mostly based on WP:RSPSOURCES, WP:NPPSG and WP:CITEWATCH and a good dose of common sense. I'm always expanding coverage and tweaking the script's logic, so general feedback and suggestions to expand coverage to other unreliable sources are always welcomed.

Help! Fighting for Oklahoma Institution
Folks, I need some help. I’ve been trying for some time to create a Wikipedia page on the Autry Technology Center. For those not familiar, that’s one of Oklahoma’s official CareerTech schools. Founded in 1967 and fully accredited, Autry currently has 22,724 students; it has two campuses and an on-line presence; and, since it works directly with employers as well as offering regular classes, it has been specifically cited by large employers as a reason they put their businesses in Autry’s home town.
But I’ve got a reviewer who keeps deleting the page, on the basis that the subject isn’t notable enough. I don’t know if he hates Oklahoma or what, but anyone who has used Wikipedia for any period of time knows much more trivial subjects (like small, hometown high schools) have scored pages. OF COURSE an institution of higher learning with 22,724 students is notable enough to have a page! But he just keeps deleting it.
If there is an official way that we can get Oklahoma’s arms wrapped around this page, that would be great. But if not, please contact anyone you know influential at Wikipedia to ask them what the frick is going on; or at least, drop by the page yourself (the Deletion page is referenced at the top of the current article), and add your two cents worth.
To be clear, the issue is whether the subject is worthy of a page. The reviewer has now added a charge that the article reads like an advertisement; but, the language about “innovative” and “award-winning’ was added specifically to address his ongoing complaint that the subject wasn’t worthy enough. I’m not defending every semicolon on the page, and I don’t really care if that language or any other wording comes out or not. Once the page is established, anyone can modify it. But I think a large educational institution in Oklahoma is CLEARLY worthy of a page, and that’s the principle I’m fighting for. Please help! TulGuy (talk) 15:01, 10 April 2023 (UTC)

- Please see WP:CANVASS: a non-neutral message like this is highly inappropriate and may motivate an admin reviewing the AfD to throw out keep !votes that post-date this and similar canvassing comments. The assertion that the editor who initiated the AfD "hates Oklahoma" is further a personal attack.
