Yanqaq Rural District (Persian: دهستان ينقاق) is in the Central District of Galikash County, Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Yanqaq.[3]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Galikash District of Minudasht County) was 17,954 in 4,064 households.[4] There were 20,215 inhabitants in 5,386 households at the following census of 2011,[5] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Galikash County.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 20,164 in 5,958 households. The most populous of its 31 villages was Yanqaq, with 3,919 people.[2]
