Saleh Mirhashemi (1986–September 9, 2022) is an Iranian protester was during Mahsa Amini protests.[1]

Allegations, arrest, and trial[edit]

When Mirhashemi was arrested on November25, 2022 on the charge of shooting and killing two Basij fighters and a colonel of the Iranian Police Special Units, and was executed in the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Isfahan by the verdict of Judge Morteza Barati on charges of Hirabah.[2]

Majid Kazemi[3] and Saeed Yaqoubi[4] were also executed in connection with the same case.[5] Execution of the death sentence has been carried out while in the days leading up to the execution - both inside and outside the country - well-known figures and human rights organizations had called for a halt to these executions.[6]
