Masoud Kordpour (Persian: مسعود کردپور) is an Iranian journalist[1][2] and editor-in-chief of the Kurdish Mukrian News Agency.[3][4]

Arrests[edit]

Kordpour was arrested by the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps during the Mahsa Amini protests in Bukan.[5][6][7]

Kordpour was sentenced to 9 months in prison for "propaganda against the regime" and 8 months in prison for "disturbance in public order" by the Islamic Revolutionary Court.[8] Kordpour was released on February 14, 2023.[8]

He was previously arrested on March 2013.[9][10]
