Is this formula really correct?[edit]

${\text{Metabolisable Energy}}=\left({\text{Gross Energy in Food}}\right)-\left({\text{Energy lost in Foods, Secretions and Gases}}\right){\text{Urine}}.$ I understand that the term "Energy lost..." is multiplied by "Urine". Is that correct? I'm not a nutritionist, so I don't know enough about this system. --SnowRaptor (talk) 14:54, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
