untitled[edit]

I heard they (Bitchy Boys) also would add a frozen lemonade Popsicle instead of ice. can't remember the reference.

  • Dark rum such as Black Seal should be used in the drink recipe as opposed to the previously suggested light rum. Dark rum is used because mixing the dark rum with the orange juice produces the distinct 'brass' coloration that gives this drink it's name. I've made the appropriate correction to the article. --Randall311 (talk) 20:30, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Beastie Boys[edit]

Brass Monkey off the License To Ill album. I think there'd be a mention of that in this article since it probably brought some popularity to the drink. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.163.236.189 (talk) 03:39, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What were The Beastie Boys drinking?[edit]

Were they singing about commercial mixed cocktail or the 40oz beer mix? Can't figure out by reading this page or listening to the song. Could be either? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.8.145.25 (talk) 18:17, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Club Cocktails[edit]

Heublein's line of pre-mixed cocktails was sold under the brand "Club". I only note this because the article talks about Heublein's Brass Monkey being sold again under that brand. The information probably doesn't belong in this article, but in case someone is interested enough to break the information off into another article about the Club brand, here's your lead. :) Rjhatl (talk) 21:43, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What?[edit]

... Brass Monkey cocktails are there? Thank you. Maikel (talk) 19:52, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What the?[edit]

... hell does this mean: "As with many lesser-known cocktails that are named after colloquial expressions, widely differing recipes share the same name."

Thank you kindly, Maikel (talk) 19:52, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unopened bottle of Brass Monkey. Is it worth anything?[edit]

What is a unopened bottle of Brass Monkey worth? 2600:1702:1CB0:5040:59EE:B090:6C4B:294E (talk) 22:15, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
