Guarani etymology[edit]

Catupiry is not really cheese[edit]

Catupiry is made of buttermilk, not milk. In Brazil, the word "Requeijão" is used to indicate a dairy spread made from buttermilk. Moreover, the label of Catupiry (in Portuguese) does not use the word "queijo" (cheese). The label presents Catupiry as "Requeijão". 104.156.65.98 (talk) 21:52, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
