Untitled[edit]

This page had been redirected to Taco Bell. Pretty ironic, as the item that Taco Bell calls a chalupa more closely resembles a taco (I mentioned this in the article). I'm sure someone else can correct, and/or expand upon, what I've added to the article. (And now I wish I had a chalupa.) -- Gyrofrog (talk) 02:45, 12 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the recipe to the Wikibooks cookbook and applied a link, tidied up the description and moved the issue of Slavic surnames to a seperate page. --richiau

Lowest common denominator[edit]

Chalupa, NOT "chalupas" is Mexican dish. NOT some easy to sell from a drive in window monstrosity. It is pork and beans with cumin as a primary flavor. This article is an insult to humanity. It is as if fried chicken was somehow defined as KFC. I was making chalupa decades ago with pork and beans and it had NOTHING to do with little drive thru size taco mutations.24.93.109.183 (talk) 04:07, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
