Merge with North American cuisine and South American cuisine[edit]

The North American cuisine and South American cuisine articles do not present sufficient information to stand individually. For this reason, they should be merged here. Neelix (talk) 02:36, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely not, merging is used when notability is not inherent to the individual articles. Both North American and South American cuisine needs to be expanded, however these articles are absolutely notable in their separate state. I am against the bold merge. Thanks! Against the merge. Per Valoem. In addition there is little unity in the cuisines of the Americas. Patagonian lamb asado, Bandeja Paisa, Guacamole and Chocolate-covered bacon has little in common. While sometimes it is necessary to lump together things this case is extreme and adds little "value" or accessibility to the information. Sietecolores (talk) 10:50, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
