Current state of "investigation"[edit]

The "investigation" was handed over to the California Attorney General's Office, under Rob Bonta. This was due to the fact that one of the victims of rape by Foppoli, Esther Lemus, was a deputy district attorney in the county in which the rape occurred. Citing a conflict of interest, Jill Ravitch forwarded the "investigation" to the Attorney General. The Attorney General's Office has not done anything since. I intend to consolidate sources and edit the article when I get time.
