Keep it at "Eat Frozen Pork", and capitalised as a proper name. This seems to be how the campaign was officially described.

"Eating Frozen Pork Campaign" would of course fail WP capitalisation rules. "Eating frozen pork campaign" would be better, but is still clumsy in English and unclear. If (and I'm against this) the article was to be renamed so that a longer title was self-evidently obvious, it could be "Singaporean campaign to eat frozen pork". I'd expect a fair chance of them under FoP, although I don't know how that works in Singapore. I would see one image to be justifiable under NFCC, although I expect Betacommand will have a go at deleting it anyway. This was an overt programme of social engineering by the Singaporean government, the means and billboards they used to do so justify illustration. Andy Dingley (talk) 12:50, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Awh, you make Singapore sound like we are under a dictatorship! ("Social engineering") I personally see the rationale behind the campaign. A quick cursory search would yield pictures of the posters they used. ("The freshness is frozen for you! Eat frozen pork") Expect smiling pigs. Modern status of pork production in Singapore?[edit]

What have been the long term changes in pork production? I presume that the Singaporean population has grown in 30 years and that per capita pork consumption is still high. Where is this pork coming from today? Is Singapore now eating frozen pork, because it's what's available? Is pork farming still a viable use of land, or have farmers been driven out by building and rising land costs? Andy Dingley (talk) 08:20, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Andy Dingley: I have added a bit on that, coincidentally. I am by no means a reliable source, but there are no more pig farms in Singapore today, from what I know. Suppliers of pork to Singapore include Brazil, Indonesia, US, and Australia. But when it comes to "fresh" pork (live pigs), only Indonesia supplies us with those. We used to get fresh pork from Malaysia too, but naw more.
