Contradiction[edit]

This article contradicts itself. It states that U-bet uses cane sugar rather than corn sweeteners, but later goes on to state that the non-Passover version of the product uses high fructose corn syrup. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.94.128.106 (talk) 18:01, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the previous post. As stated on the ingredients label cane sugar is only used during the Passover production and sales. The preceding print of the article is false advertising and should be revised. One important way to expand the article would be why sugar is necessary to be used during Passover but not at other times of the year. Another ingredient that is critical to the syrup quality of the food is xantham gum, which is a vegetable gelatin process that though a "kosher" gelatin component has been linked to certain oral cancers. That is not critical to the article but an interesting point about the history of koshering your food for health and the passage of time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jlarosner (talkcontribs) 01:50, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
