Failed verification[edit]

The supposed references add today do not even touch on the subject of a bread roll containing a potato fritter. They are not pertinent to this article. Mutt Lunker (talk) 21:32, 20 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Traditionally a potato is used as the filler, and other times, as the references show...Peas, or haggis. Here in the US the fritter traditionally is just fried dough. The three sources [1][2][3] do not mention "fritter rolls" or give any indication that fritters stuffed with peas, haggis, etc. are actually variations on the fritter roll. They would be reliable sources for fritter but not for this article. –dlthewave 21:24, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
