Origin of the name?[edit]

The very first image that popped into my head as I clicked the link was of two slices of Wonder bread with Gerber baby food spread on them. Yuck! BillyTFried (talk) 11:22, 12 December 2008 (UTC) left|115px[reply]

Information added from the same source article, it is possibly a German last name, St. Louis has had large German-American populations, btw you might not want to become a cook with ideas like that, or at least don't look up Gerber knives and Gerber plumbing, if that's too much Gerber Science there's always Gerber Life Insurance Company.
