Disgambiguation[edit]

There are at least two types of red ale I know of: Irish red ale as discussed in this article, and Flemish red ale such as Rodenbach and Satan. --Stlemur 14:45, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Types of Ale[edit]

  • Smithwick's and Killkenny are the same beer. Killkenny is imported and sold as Smithwicks outside of the British Isles. --Dastal 06:18, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. It is marketed and sold as Smithwick's in the U.S., not Kilkenny as the article states. 23:09, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
A beer called Kilkenny is available on draught in some pubs in Ireland; it's not the same as the Smithwicks served there. (Agreed about the export situation, though).--Ataltane 02:28, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
