more info needed[edit]

OK, I'm on e-bay trying to buy one of these things. I'm appalled at the prices of the larger old skillets. I also am baffled about the numbers on the skillets. Like some are number 8. Some are number 14. I want more information about the specs of the skillets of various manufacturers at various times. i'm not sure where to look for this. What about Petromax, Robens, etc.[edit]

I'm under the impression Petromax makes their own cast iron. Can anybody confirm?

I just found Robens brand. The website seems to be robens.de but the contact information says Denmark.

Can anybody update with facts about these brands and other brands listed? I wonder if the list here is really exhaustive.

What about Lancaster?[edit]
