Chips[edit]

This page is insane, a list of potato dishes that omits British chips? That's like compiling a list of beef dishes and omitting the hamburger, chips are a massive thing in the UK, some areas have a chipshop every half a mile. French fries tend to be different in reality. Suggest "Chips (British English)" maybe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.1.165.31 (talk) 08:19, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Scope[edit]

I think we should narrow the scope of this list and list only *potato-based* dishes and not served as side dishes (like Steak frites). Otherwise we'll have to add any notable dish served with fries or potatoes (like moules-frites, Zürcher Geschnetzeltes mit rösti etc...). Any thought? Zach (Talk) 18:27, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dirty Potatoes[edit]

Is the increasingly popular (in the uk, at least) dish known as "dirty potatoes" not suitable for inclusion? Seismofish (talk) 14:01, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
