Removed prod template[edit]

Monkey butter doesn't have many recipes online, because everyone who knows about it knows how to make it; you don't really need a recipe book to mix bananas, yoghurt and peanut butter. I had heard the phrase and wondered what it meant, which is why I put this article up. Now anyone who wonders what monkey butter is can look it up on Wikipedia. I wouldn't mind if this were moved to wiktionary or merged into peanut butter, but a simple deletion is not the best answer. --Slashme (talk) 08:40, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

After the prod, I've redirected it to peanut butter. according to The eaten word, it's just WWII slang for peanut butter. All the rest is just made-up stuff. --Slashme (talk) 18:23, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

jwz[edit]

No mention of monkey butter is complete without a reference to jwz and his monkey butter anecdote (at http://www.jwz.org/gruntle/monkeybutter.html). --coldacid (talk|contrib) 22:40, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
