Proposed merge of Oliva Ascolana del Piceno into Olive all'ascolana[edit]

Oliva Ascolana del Piceno and Olive all'ascolana appear to describe the same dish, or at least two variants thereof. The former, and newer, article therefore creates an unnecessary fork. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:57, 5 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Support merge as proposed, although noting that Olive all'ascolana is the newer (May 2021) article, given that Oliva Ascolana del Piceno was created a few months earlier (in March). So, merge to Olive all'ascolana as it is the broader topic, keeping a separate section for Oliva Ascolana del Piceno given that it is a protected designation of origin (PDO).
