seems to be a reasonably well accepted term in Indian English language press. Think it should go through an AfD if it's going to be deleted.

Prod and significance of term[edit]

A Google news search indicates that this is a fairly well used concept and term in English language Indian (and Pakistan?) newspapers. So I think it deserves more work to improve and expand to be more than a simple list, rather than be deleted. Is this article any different from the street food article?[edit]

"Street food is food obtainable from a streetside vendor". Meanwhile, "A food street is a street that is devoted specifically to eating out." Not the same thing. Street food is to food streets and power tools are to hardware stores. - SummerPhD (talk) 19:32, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gastronomy in Singapore navbox poll[edit]

I would like to add the navbox gastronomy in singapore, because "food street" is not limited to pakistan, it also exists in other countries like for e.g. Singapore. Adding the navbox does not harm and, it's similar to the link: "List of restaurant districts and streets" which leads to a different aspect of this article but not mentioned in the article.
