"Entire Article Needs Referencing"[edit]

This entire article is full of generalizations as well as throies with little evidence to back it up, I sugest a full investigation into the information presented needs to be conducted Nickcirc (talk) 15:55, 14 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"very popular..."[edit]

I removed the citation that was added for this sentence, as it didn't actually support it; it was nothing but a reference in an editorial in the lower case. It had no statistics, no comments as to prevalence. And as was mentioned in the above-linked AFD discussion, "passion pop" is a generic term, so there is no reason to think this lower case reference was even to the branded product. Passion Pop[edit]

Plastic stoppers as used with Passion pop have been available and used before passion pop came on the market. A precursor that was sold in the 1960's was called "Porphory Pearl" It was also popular at Uni dances and balls.

While Uni students may have gone for better wines the 15 and 16 year olds seem to have discovered it. How they get it is a good question? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 130.155.48.141 (talk) 06:05, 27 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

"Popular in Southern suburbs"[edit]

Which southern suburbs? Passion pop is known throughout Australia, I don't think every state's southern suburbs are the same. There is also no proof this is the case. 124.169.81.241 (talk) 23:34, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agree, and have removed content. Im sure they were referrring to Sydney's south 'burbs, but the drink is equally popular in Melb too, and the Northern suburbs are the poorest there, Southern being the wealthiest. I dont understand the logic behind classism and location, it is just not feasible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.219.255.133 (talk) 06:44, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This really reads as an advertisement. Actually reading an oz liquor trade magazine (might have been "Drinks"), they mentioned that Passion Pop has it's own wikipedia entry. Sounds like they've gone in here and "spruced" it up. 58.96.53.203 (talk) 10:17, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
