New Information to add[edit]

Would it be ok if I added some new information to this existing article? This article could be improved by adding information about how preventive nutrition is used with non-communicable diseases and the diets that are recommended. Including the advances in understanding my preventive nutrition is important at all ages. An study states that as of 2016 41 million children under the age of 5 are overweight or obese (Nicola Di Daniele. (2019). The Role of Preventive Nutrition in Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases. Nutrients, 11(5), 1074.), preventive nutrition is a key player to combating this horrible statistic within the United States. Adding information on how WIC could help provide the preventive nutrition to these children through better funding of the program or stricter food guidelines.
