how do QAI's organic certification requirements and processes differ from others in the industry? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeffschuler (talkcontribs) 17:35, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The examples section should be expanded or just removed altogether. PierceG (talk) 18:34, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kosher Certification, "Glatt" or not?[edit]

I have removed the adjective "the strictest" from what is apparently some public relations person's discription of the joint STAR-K and QAI kosher certification.

To my mind "strictest kosher" has one of two meanings, it is either an Engish translation of "glatt kosher," the meaning of which differs by community and by time of the year; or, more loosely, “more kosher than his," in the sense of the desert island with two Jews and three synagogues, one for each and one that neither would be caught dead in. I doubt that anyone seriously disagrees with me on this, hired hands of Quality Assurance Inc. possibly excepted.

I would be perfectly happy is someone suggested a replacement, perhaps "widely respected." STAR-K have been in the business for a good long time, and they are as good at it as anyone.

Article needs attention[edit]

This article is in desperate need of attention. Currently it reads like an advertisement written by the subject of the article. Additionally I think the connection to the NSF is important and should be mentioned in the body of the article. morsontologica (talk) 03:07, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
