Back in the late 1980's[edit]

Back in the late 1980's Rocky's had many locations in Chicago Suburbs and I know of the mentioned St. Louis Union Station mall location, it was still there longer than most Chicago locations, many which were last open were sold to Pizza Hut in Aurora, Illinois and some others. I have not found any link to info on them. Also DeKalb, IL was another College location NIU, now a rental office for campus housing. Kidsheaven 05:53, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New sections to be worked out[edit]

  • A new section could be added to this article to capture the personalities of Rocky Rococo and the extended family. Commenting on (1) the wacky family portraits (reminiscent of (parody of?) those in traditional Italian restaurants), which are found throughout Rocky Rococo's dining areas, (2) the content of their coupon "newspapers", (3) the "humorous" pun-posters promoting new menu items (e.g., The Meatrix). These are pretty unique features of Rocky Rococo; i.e., other establishments are not usually this silly. The official website of Rocky Rococo fails to reflect these common traits experienced in person.
  • In addition, their offering of heart-shaped pizzas for Valentine's Day (although not entirely unique) and the ability to special-order wheat-crust pizza (actually pretty unique (?)) should be highlighted.

I am unable to think of a way of introducing these elements without it bringing up the {{advert}} tag (i.e., "this articles reads like an advertisement") --Restecp 03:08, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Rocky Rococo.jpg[edit]

Image:Rocky Rococo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:35, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 14 May 2021[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

Rocky Rococo is a disambiguation page between three topics, but the pizza chain is the only one that has an article. The other two appear to be relatively minor topics. JIP | Talk 22:19, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Note: Rocky Rococo titles a page with significant content and so cannot be a target "new" title unless it is also included. This proposal has been altered to reflect that fact. P.I. Ellsworth  ed. put'r there 22:58, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Shaky oppose (and I don't mean that kind of shakey) as I still think of the Firesign Theater character as being the "real" one. That's not much of a policy basis (hence the "shaky") and 120 stores nationally would push us more toward WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Meanwhile, though, there are only 39. I'd be inclined to leave it as is, but I wouldn't be upset or surprised if we decided to move it (and make Rocky RococoRocky Rococo (disambiguation)). — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 00:56, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, only article with this name, and pageviews don't indicate that Nick Danger is a more well-known topic. 162 etc. (talk) 02:19, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
