Disputed PROD[edit]

I have disputed the proposed deletion of this articles on the following grounds:

  • It clearly passes the General Notability Guideline; the fact that it had a Michelin Star was indicative of this; I have now added a number of references directly to the article to clarify;
  • The inclusion of a notable restaurant is clearly in an encyclopedia's best interests;
  • Michelin stars have a place in an article about a restaurant just as chart positions have a place in an articles about a band, film ratings for films, and so forth. The Michelin guide have very stringent inclusion criteria in fact, representing a very, very, small number of restaurants. To get just one star is a very big accolade, and by far and away a useful and encyclopedic piece of information.

If you are still unhappy, then I suggest you take a look at AFD. - Jarry1250 [Humorous? Discuss.] 12:41, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • It may or may not be notable, but the article sure could use more info. What's the address? What's the cuisine like? When was it founded? Who's the chef? Does it have a website? Stuff like that. 208.59.120.194 (talk) 17:27, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that information can soon be sought and found, but neither imperfection nor incompleteness is grounds for deletion. Which bit did you want citations for? - Jarry1250 [Humorous? Discuss.] 17:46, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It's not so much that I want citations as a complete article, you know, the Five Ws of jounalism; Who? What? When? Where? Why? and How? 208.59.120.194 (talk) 05:36, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Categories[edit]

Should Category:British cuisine be applied and should Category:Restaurants in London be changed to Category:European restaurants in London? ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:40, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
