Phoenix Computer System[edit]

Random fact: the University of Cambridge Phoenix computer system used to respond (around 1992) to the command "HELP TOPICS" by informing the user about this chocolate bar. This probably reflects more on the nature of the users of that system than the confectionery itself. 82.40.240.8 18:14, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it called Topic?[edit]

I can see no relevance of the word "topic" to chocolate. Equinox 05:55, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote to Mars and asked them. They replied: "The Topic bar has been a firm favourite since it's introduction in 1962, unfortunately over time the origin of how the Topic chocolate bar came to be called Topic has been lost and now it has become a mystery that we are still trying to discover."
