Effect of frost[edit]

The article says "becoming sweet after a frost due to drop in acid levels as the grape decomposes". I think this is wrong. Decomposition is not involved. The grapes become sweet after a frost because the cells of the grape increase their sucrose content to prevent freezing. Maproom (talk) 22:20, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That's an important distinction, and I agree it should be implemented as soon as possible. rowley (talk) 11:03, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Is the Grape native to North America?[edit]

The article is not really clear. Is this grape native to North America?23.16.152.103 (talk) 06:00, 12 May 2012 (UTC)BeeCier[reply]

In Uses[edit]

It's important to make the distinction that these "herbal medicine" uses fall under the heading of folk remedies — especially if citations are not soon provided. rowley (talk) 11:05, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
