Mistake in Trivia section

This is the first game since WWF WrestleMania 2000 & WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth that Jeff Hardy will be in.

Jeff Hardy was included in WWF No Mercy, the sequel to Wrestlemania 2000 so No Mercy should be mentioned instead. Andy Styles 11:16, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Added superstars that were confirmed by IGN. This was from a revision I made on September 2, 2007 before the article was screwed up by someone. buried alive and casket match whats the diffrence

Buried Alive is where you have to get your opponent into a grave, and bury him alive (usually knock him out first), a Casket Match is where you have to basically knock out you opponent, and drag them into a casket. You know?

Ok, Buried Alive = In the game, you bring your opponent to the dirt covered area near the entrace way and put him in the Casket. You win. Then you see your character cover the casket in dirt, hence burying your opponent alive.

And, Casket Match = You have to get your opponent into the Casket outside of the ring.

For the WWE Tag Team Belts, I think from the trailers on IGN that Batista and Rey Mysterio are the default champions. They were the last champions that are on the roster still employed by the WWE. Unfortunately, that was from December '05. Downloadable Content, PS3 Only?

Games Master magazine has put out an article stating about downloadable content before, not just on the PS3, but on the XBOX 360 too, including replacing wrestlers with newer ones and such, therefore in Trivia I have put about prospective downloads with the wrestlers who have been named in that section. ECW Roster is definately not right

As the game was being developed shortly after WrestleMania of this year, I can't see how the game can have such up to date rosters. If you look at the trailer video on www.smackdownvsraw.com The Sandman is fighting in an ECW arena. Also, I don't believe that there are only 6 superstars on the ECW Roster. Actually, if all of the rosters are true, then why isn't Hardcore Holly on the SmackDown roster? During the supplemental draft, Hardcore Holly was drafted to SmackDown. Also, why is Nitro not called John Morrison then? There is something pretty fishy about this roster, and I want to know who got the information about the RAW, SmackDown and ECW rosters, and where the got it from, ASAP!

Trivia

Is it really necessary to have some of these points? I don't think saying who isn't in the video game or a superstar being in the video game since X is exactly necessary and I'm sure some of these can be figured out by seeing who is on the confirmed roster. Potential Added Superstars

According to some sources, other WWE superstars could be added to the game, as well as the much anticipated downloadable superstars. In the past, rosters have been way over 40 current superstars alone, whereas this one only has 36. Some sources reckon that around 10 further superstars could be added, such as Shelton Benjamin, Matt Striker & Balls Mahoney. 1st Person Mode?

In my opinion a first person mode is the last thing a wrestling game really needs. The game play would probably be very difficult. For example, lets say your playing in first person mode and your character were do get german suplexed. Then your opponent were to do a grapple near your feet, your line of vision would be start up so you would not know when to reverse the grapple beacuse you would have to time it with the movement of you opponent. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but techniqually if there has been no confirmation that Chris Benoit has been removed from the game, but there was confirmation that he was in the game then again shouldn't he techniqually be added to the roster until further notice, and by the way I am full aware of the whole Benoit case with the pulling of his merchandise, but he should still techniqually be listed until other wise proven with a note above the roster saying "Chris Benoit's status in the game is currently unknown, he was listed by Nintendo as being on the roster, however due to the circumstances surrounding his death, he may have been removed"150.101.76.42 06:24, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Well do to the fact that WWE told THQ and Yukes that they had to go back a redo most of the game so that Chris Benoit wouldn't be in it. So, unfortunately, Chris Benoit has a very high chance of not being in this game, if the statement is true. Althought, In my opinion, Benoit shouldn't be taking out of 08, but it is not my decision it's the WWEs.(Username:sXe Punk1991)
